No but she could deactivate the clapper on anyone's bell, if the unwanted circumstance or need should arise. Even with a cute and pink hand gun.

Oh yeah....we have guns everywhere. lol
I was thinking about hitting the local pawn shop.
They have every weapon you could possibly want. lol
I saw a pink handgun somewhere (catalog i think)
It's just so cute:) lol
The last time I was at the pawn shop, they had automatics with pink, neon blue, and yellow grips. I do believe Oki would have a fit if I were to request a pink handgun. LOL

True, in the fact that "Anyone" could possibly pack a larger caliber I suppose.

Put I still like any gals or guys choice to go armed rather than unarmed. Too many people these days living a criminal life, rather than working for what they have.

But JMO.... not looking to start a gun debate in a perfectly good bullying thread :)

Really?
That's where the name Arctic comes from
I had an arctic wolf/giant Alaskan Malamute.
He was the best.
His name was Arctic Keno....we just called
him Keno.
I hijacked his name 10 yrs ago and its been
my email since.
Truly great animals.
The breeder is now kinda famous. His "dogs'
have been in movies and commercials.
The price has gone up. I paid 500 now he sells
them for 2-4k.
I have tons of things to do.
You guys be good and I'll catch 'ya on the
other side....hopefully:)
Very cool Artic... I guess we were very fortunate to get ours off of a kind neighbor lady when she had to move to where pets weren't allowed. We paid nothing, as she said was just glad he went to a good home.

Unfortunately by both your statement and also by looking online, getting another anywhere like him, will be fairly costly. As for now I'm happy with my German Shepard :).

Take care and don't work too hard. Have things I should be doing too, but just mowed the lawn and I are taking a well deserved break. Just figured I'd stop in for my regular dose of negative Icons or judgement thingies (whatever ya calls them). As I've seemingly and quite apparently already made at least one enemy? And I wasn't even trying..:).

<quoted text>Dear Grace,
Good afternoon to you. Excellent post and no wiser words spoken.
I've watched this play out and agree that it was a despicable act to post personal information but I've also got to believe the bullys hadn't a clue that the victim would escalate it to the means with which he did.
The desired affect was reached will polls, taunting, baiting, chasing and humiliating. It didn't turn out as funny as originally intended for some.
Have a blessed day dear,
Steve
Thanks,

I'm not really familiar with this thread,
only read a bit today,
and .. the post that caught my eye was that TOPIX sometimes
turns a blind eye to very incendiary
posts, I agreed.

Having said that, I certainly wouldn't be in agreement with anyone
publicizing true names of people here,
and I still dono' where that happened -
was it on this thread?

There are lines one doesn't cross here
and that is one of them... IMO.

You too Steve, have a good evening..

<quoted text>Never bring a bully to a gun fight....
Very true. In the very few "real" fights that I've been in my life, all was against bullies. I've always despised them. One fight was even in another persons defense.

And after that particular one...even though it took a little while for the beating I received to heal properly, I wouldn't have done anything different. Except maybe a better defense to right uppercut, that pretty much ended the fight...

Bullying on line, or off line...(as in real life) is only different in perhaps very small details. I hope that no one ever takes me for one. If they do, they could just call me one, and then I would immediately stop any counteraction with them, except for my apology . It's never my wish to be perceived as a bully on this site... past ,present or future.

I may have a difference of opinion at times. I say them when I think the need may arise. Now folks may not agree with me, and that's fine. In fact, there are points in some peoples difference of an opinion which may very possibly change my own, and have. That's simply learning.. if their differences possibly differ from mine and they possibly give me food for thought. And what's more...I'll even admit it to the poster, themselves.

But when you say something on this site.... one should allow room for a debate, or difference of opinion. As was one POV from another poster that I counteracted with recently, because we has a difference of opinion? That's madness. She made excellent points (as I told her as much) while telling me that most people know better than to drag her back into a thread on a post that she made? No...

Once you let something out ONLINE there is the possibility that your POV will be questioned. I'm certainly no exception to that rule.

All I can say is that I will continue to practice posting my possible differences of opinion, whether it's popular with the popular or not, on this site. Never take it as I'm being mean please, that's not the case. Just tell me if you feel that it is, I will tell you that no harm was meant on my part. Some people's feelings may be more fragile than others, that's why I don't post very much, as it is not my wish to offend people.. But if it's something I feel VERY strongly about? I'm GONNA give my two cents.

Peace to all, even if our opinion may differ on down the line, folks. I personally don't have a vindictive bone in body.

And before anyone throws it out ( as in another thread).... this IS THE ONLY NAME THAT I USE in "offbeat".. which is actually kinda a neat forum. Impossible to prove, but it is indeed a fact. It's just me, Will Munny and it is not my real name. It's just named a character in one of my favorite western movies. If it sounds egotistical, that I am up to elbows in money, I only wish. I do work... but admittedly cut it close at times in meeting my bills. As the wife and daughter often make questionable purchases... of which I sometimes often point out to them. I usually come out on the short end of that stick on those differences of opinion, as well as I probably will on here :).

"C'est la vie" will always be one of my favorite sayings, as I've probably already over-shared. And again, to say to those that I may have already offended: that no harm was meant.

Wouldn't that be a sight?
Someone breaks into your house (scares
the hell out of you) you shoot at him,
call the police, and there you are w/a
neon pink gun....lol

When I was a kid my grandfather kept a
38 in his bedside table drawer.
I kinda like the look of them. Have
never shot one tho. Probably not a
good idea to buy a handgun on appearance
alone.

Seems like the best dogs are the ones you get free.
I'm pretty big on rescue dogs. You can actually get
a wolf hybrid from rescue sites if you ever decide
to do that. Plenty of them needing good homes.
I Love all breeds. German Shepards are great. I've
had a few of almost everything.
Big on Pit Bulls.(I know....)
But they are like a lot of things these days.
Not always accurately represented in the media.

Enough!...sorry you got me onto a topic that I can
(obviously) talk all day about.

Don't worry about the judgits.

What was going on here wasn't what you'd call
bullying. A few posters were posting light comments
meant to get a some humor into the conversation.
One poster, he's a very serious person, took it
personally even tho I tried to tell him he was taking
it too serious, too personally.
Just a clash of personalities in my opinion.

I'm not sure why he posted names? Or where he
got names? Or even if they Were real.
