There is a lot I am tempted to say, but I will hold my keyboard strokes. Is all this really necessary?

Cyberbullying is no longer just a teenage problem as nowadays there are many adults who have been caught cyberbullying teenagers to help their own kids out in "defense." Also this site, topix, is the perfect tool for adult cyberbullying where adults bully each other over the internet everyday throughout many forums. I have been contributing to the cyberbullying problem of another adult in another forum in which that person is also a cyberbully. I've come to realize that this site is primarily a spot where all the meanest bullies can gather and bully each other.

Unlike in the RW, all you have to do is click the red X to get away from it. You got to admit this place is some pretty good free entertainment. I've split my sides laughing many times here.

Unfortunately, that seems to happen to everybody. Everyone at one time or another gets bullied, and I think the Internet only increases bullying, since it is anonymous, and people think they can say whatever they want. The end result is total chaos, and it's hard to report cyberbullies, since they use pseudonyms.

Oh I didn't complain lol. This site is very fun and great for free entertainment everyday. I've went into loud outbursts in public places on my notebook being in some threads on this different forum. This site is an online zoo and the half-way decent people are the spectators of us animals haha.

Remember a case where a mother of another teen tried to get even with another teen by posing as a teen guy in order to find out just what she was saying about her daughter and then proceeded to tell the girl that she was worthless (still using the fake ID) and caused the teen to commit suicide over it?

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,312018,00...

The woman who perpetrated the hoax got her conviction overturned, but there are now stronger laws in place against cyberbullying today which would have assured a conviction in the case.

I do remember that case of the mother pretending to be someone she wasn't. Are there any hardcore links to these new cyberbullying laws they revamped after her case? I'm just curious. It's very hard to convict someone or prove it in them cyberbullying someone especially on a site like this where you can change your location as often as you want, etc. I guess the cops would go into more in depth search tactics of course but it's a matter of them wanting to waste their time or not.

In this case all of these stories were fabrications of his own sick mind. Then one responded with the real name and address of the stalker

LOL! The US News forum was pretty good until it was overrun with trolls 2 or 3 years ago. Too much gay and religious stuff on Top Stories for my tastes, so this is where I ended up.

There is something about Megan Meier on Wikipedia that makes mention of laws that were passed to make it easier to convict somebody in a similar case.

I've never mozied on over there into the US news forum. Never thought it would be any good. Dang, trolls want to overpower the news too I see haha. I'm not much into discussing LGBT stuff nor religion myself. Occassionally I'll get sucked up into it and post one or two opinions, then skurry on out lol before the attacks come. I don't even say anything divisive on the topics at all because I'm not a judgemental person when it comes to that stuff. Granted I do admit I have an issue with what I call wannabe christians but even them I will engage with in a civil manner. I'm always in the African American forum but I forgot what brought me to this forum. One of the topics caught my attention when I first pulled up the page so I came into here and I like it. It's cool. But man 'o man smh lol that AA forum is hilarious with nothing but alllllllllllll sorts of personalities, sociopaths, medically untreated nuts, klansmen, Afrocentrists, I mean if you could think of it, they are in that forum LMAO. All are funny even the racists make me laugh more than half the time. There's two men on there, on each side of the racist aisle, that's been literally fighting with each other for 6 years one of them admitted haha. They will not call truce and it's hilarious because everyone see that they want to but both of them have too much pride to do it so it'll be yet another 6 years watching these two spam the threads with their Cirque Du Freaks (Circus of the freaks) shows lol. Sometimes I have to take a break from that forum because the thread titles they come up with is ridiculously hilarious and you would think these are fake stories but they're real when you click the links haha. I think coming to this site has helped me look at certain things in totally different ways, in better ways actually.

Thanks for the information. I'll type in her name and I am almost sure it'll pop up for me.

A man gets a chance to meet up with his dream girl from highschool, even though his date with her back then was a complete disaster.

A 13 year old girl hanged herself and all you can do is come up with this sewer sludge? Kids killing themselves over adult cyberbullying is no joking matter. If you must play on Offbeat, go to a more appropriate thread, or even better, create one of your own.

Check it out. Dustin Hoffman,'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Counted toothpicks, cheated cards. Autistic, sho'. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks,'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded. Peter Sellers, "Being There." Infantile, yes. Retarded, no. You went full retard, man. Never go full retard. You don't buy that? Ask Sean Penn, 2001, "I Am Sam." Remember? Went full retard, went home empty handed...

How have YOU been?
Taking it day to day here too. Things are looking up for me health wise. Everything is staying stable and that is a good thing. I changed jobs and that had a huge impact on how I was doing. I really love what I'm doing and have a wonderful boss. Not in the medical field anymore and it has helped my health a bunch. Rather Ironic. LOL.
