I don't put up with bullies either. Not here, or in life.
Would you then say that messaging a persons family/friends is bullying or stalking?
More stalking, but could be either depending on the context.

Don't be too sure of that. I do believe mine was literally correct. I have no idea what other post you're talking about.

Cyber bullying is every where and not with just teenagers. I've been bullied for 2 weeks now by this guy who said I took his boy George doll after he bit his pee pee off. Now why would I steal a doll?

<quoted text>For somebody who has had posts of hers removed by the mods earlier for being so stupidly vulgar, I wouldn't talk if I were you. I once defended you against what I thought were unfair things that were said about you and you show your appreciation by deciding it was more important to please a few two bit trolls with you antagonistic posting against me than to show a little gratitude. You are the textbook definition of an ingrate.

They're not literally his children. They're the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers - inner city children of promise but without the necessary means for a - necessary means for a higher education. So Mr Lebowski is committed to sending all of them to college.

<quoted text>I didn't say all of them. There are a few of them who have viciously trolled others and me. My problems with the trolls started when I posted an opinion on a certain subject that was in general agreement with the overwhelming majority of the experts which apparently offended a number of people who seemed mostly to be those who regularly posted on HPR's thread. What am I supposed to think in light of that? I suppose I could have agreed with the crowd instead of the experts, but then that would be very insincere on my part. There were a substantial number of posters who did agree with me though.
The posters who regularly post on my thread and "hang out there" Let's see--forgive me if I have left anyone out, but as far as I can determine the regulars are as follows: Rotor Head, Okimar, Denny Crain, Fisherman 808, LuAnn D, Flower Child, Hippi chick, Ricky F, Red (when she stops by), Billy R, Me, Paisley Posey (when she is able to drop by). Now, I ask you again. WHICH ONE OF THESE VICIOUS POSTERS TROLLED YOU? You can't answer that because the answer is THEY HAVEN'T. A disagreement is NOT trolling. You and Billy R had a disagreement, you and I have had disagreements. But I call BS for the post that the regulars on my thread go around trolling you. IF I thought you seriously believed that, I would call you a liar, but as it stands, I will simply say you are mistaken.

I've never seen that kind of behavior
out of anyone on that thread that I can recall.
What really gets me tho is this.
I'm pretty unconventional. I don't "fit in"
with any one group.
I'm too liberal to be conservative, too conservative
to be a liberal.
I don't agree w/established religion.
I love to debate a subject that I feel passionately
about like abortion, politics, religion, gay
marriage....I'm an advocate for pit bulls...lol
Lets just say I rub most ppl the wrong way.
Yet in over 8 yrs of posting on some pretty rough
boards I've never been trolled.
Wouldn't you think I'D be the person everyone
jumps to troll?
No, I wouldn't think you'd be someone that people would troll. You're lots of fun, and I think you fit in everywhere. That's the beauty of it.

<quoted text>That explanation was a bit limp. Like you, I am also in the political center and catch hell from both extremes. I think the real difference between us is that you are far more willing to sacrifice right or wrong for being popular with certain posters. If there was something I could say or do to become popular with the ones who currently troll me, I wouldn't compromise my principles to do so which is our biggest difference between us. Actually, I could consider peace with them as long as I didn't have to compromise my principles, but I would feel like I was lowering myself if I ever cowtowed to some of their more despicable ways.
LMFAO

You pulled that answer right out of your ass.

I've never change my opinions on anything. If
a poster cannot accept that then they can go [email protected]
themselves.

The real difference b/t me and you is I don't hold
someones opinions against them personally.
I'll tell them they are wrong but we can agree to
disagree.
But I'll still be polite.....still say hey, how are
you.

Thanks.

I think catowner is forgetting the social
concept of being polite.

You don't have to agree w/a person on every
detail of life to like them as a person.
Or to be gracious to them.

You are absolutely correct. There are people that I interact with daily--either through work or in a social setting, that I wouldn't necessarily be friends with. I don't agree with their choices or lifestyles or whatever. But that doesn't mean I have to be rude....

It's like family- you can't pick your own twin, right?
Well, some people can...
