The first paying job with taxes was working at an activity center for mentally retarded adults on the Oregon State mental hospital grounds. They used my grandma's friend's Desoto (they worked there too) in 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'. My Grandma and her friend got to meet Jack Nicholson.
