I had many jobs but my first real job where I had to show up or else was a carhop when I was 16. Jukebox a'blaring. Cars a'honking. Winks, tips, good lookin' guys.. Whewww! I had a blast. Just good clean fun. Those were the days!

Family owned restaurant (French and Northern Italian menu). Started when I was about 11-12 years old. Washed dishes, then by the time I was 18 I could cook almost everything on the menu.

First job was in my Grandfather's shop - running an old Gisholt turning out Harvester clutch plates for 1/2 cent a piece when I was 12. First actual tax-paying job was a paper route - 473 customers.

as a teen I'd help a friend run her paper route at 3 or 4 a.m. on sunday mornings...we'd stay out all night partying & then away we went...so did the papers...in the shrubs...a few on the roof lol

Everyone is talking about jobs..When I posted earlier that job was my first job that taxes came out..Now I have to say I had jobs before that..Housecleaning,chopping wood..25 cents an hour...the woman hired me but the old man pd me and give me more. She even had me set a dead cat on fire..that was something to watch,it moving as it burns..Possible around 12,13 then.
When to store for the neighbor even younger..10cent for the trip.and that was the time when you said 3 numbers to make a call.
