waitress at a livestock sale barn in Texas..( the cafe)
you could hear the animals being zapped, and squealing from the cafe, and those damm cowboys and buyers would come in and eat a big ol Country Fried Steak and 5 glasses of tea in the midst of all that smell and squealing...

I got fired.

well, by nature I think I am , would be, a crummy waitress. I was 15.. and I would bust my rear keeping those long tall iced teas filled up for the cowboys,, and get a dime... and , maybe once or twice I may have remarked on it... lol.. dont think I ever got an order right...
even tho, the main two meals were Country Fried Steak or a Cob salad...extra boiled egg, hold the ranch..
ya know,, I just sucked..
but I liked the cute cowboys...

Do you still organize the table after everyone is finished eating ? I cant help myself. I always do this. Just a natural response from my waitressing days.

It was a lot of fun. Despite working there and living just down the road most of my life, I've never skied.

Kitchen help at a nursing home when I was 16. It was hard because I was so young and some of the nurses there were really mean and I really liked some of the people who resided there, so it was really hard when they would die and the boss in the kitchen would be like "No tray for, Oma, she's dead."
So, I had to go. It was a good learning experience, though.
