<quoted text>Opis I have to take exception here, this was no neighborhood, this is a highly rural area just east of me, and we know a family out there who has told us a little more detail. Us Hoosiers want our dogs to be able to wander around our farms. This highly trained hunting dog was not aggressive or out of control, as a retriever he'd be the last to even harm a chicken. Maybe carry it to his master, but not hurt it in the slightest. This dog was FOLLOWED and shot that many times, NOT ALLOWED to live long enough to return to it's own property.
If the dog had shown up aggressively, then Williams would have no qualms about saying so and admitting to the truth the first time the family asked them about the dog.
If this were my dog, this horticulturist would declare and horticultural warfare on that man's crops, and he'd never turn a profit as a farmer ever again as long as he lived near me. His acreage be like Egypt and the plagues up in this beetch!
it'll all be good in a couple of months when our president gives him a pat on the back...

Inflection is everything, isn't it?

Someone either didn't get it, or didn't appreciate it.

My posts are almost always read in a literal sense. I think they’re “nuts” too! Me? I thought it was comical and I love that you got it. I always try and twist the onion!

Being trained to retrieve duck and pheasants usually from water, already shot by the hunter, taught to gingerly carry the birds, so as not to damage a potential trophy.
I am all for shooting a dog on my property who is causing threats to life and property, after I've given the neighbor notice that his dog has lost 'wandering privileges' on account of it's behavior (if possible), but that wasn't the case here. Anyone here would understand that; but Williams lied at first. Why, if the animal was a threat of any kind?
That dog was stalked, shot, followed, shot some more....and I think a human being capable of that, is dangerous in other ways as well.

I agree with your prior post, I'd kill that dog myself. This is apples and oranges here, not the same circumstances at all.

I wasn't comparing circumstances, at least not intentionally, just relating another dog shooting incident.

Just a thought- why would you let your award winning dog wander loose all over the neighborhood? Just sayin'. This kind of thing used to be very common when I was younger and everyone thought their dog had some right to wander free. Neighbors would ask that their dog be controlled, and if not, it was usually never seen again.
Tragic, but, you know, preventable. Like the dog owners had no culpability in the loss of this 'precious family pet.'
The associated news footage quoted the dog owner as saying it was an accident that his dog got out. Know the facts before judging the master. This was an award-winning dog, so not likely one that was let to run loose.

"my pit accidentally got out sorry that the person was mauled "

I truly feel very bad for the owner, however law is law

Poor story. Not enough info. What is acting aggressive? How aggressive? Why couldn't he have called animal control or the owners instead of shooting a Lab? You morons making jokes should have your best friend killed to see how it feels. You shouldn't have to take six shots to kill anything. Sounds like they wanted it to suffer.
Keep your best friend under control and in your yard..problem solved. If he's your best friend why would you not take responsibity for him, protect him, instead of putting his life in danger by letting him wander loose?

You type in Tony williams in Spiceland IN on whitepages.com and not only do you get the bastads address you get his phone number and the name of his children and wife. As far as the dirty cop accidents do happen especially in the winter. You're a disgrace to the badge. My dad is a piece of shit and I don't defend him. Mr.Williams should be getting his old arse raped in prison for what he did to that dog.

Truthfully let it go folks there is no good going to come out of revenge. Just more pain to the Jesse family. Forgiveness is not accepting what someone did to hurt you it is letting go of the pain it caused you. I am not saying you should just get over it either it takes time but seriously let God deal with it. He will do much worse to him than any of us could.
