it will be easy for the muslims to take the US over, at least they wont have any trouble with the athiests....the athiests don't have anything to defend, piece of cake....a handful of scimitar swirling muslims will lop off the heads of the athiests, heck the athiests will line up for their turn. Good thing most of the people living in the South are believers, it will take longer for the muslims to destroy us.

"Zero evidence for abiogenesis".
Go back to my and Polymaths posts on that where we extensively proved that there is a LOT of evidence for MANY steps in the pathway form abiotic conditions to the first life.

ALL THOSE POSTS have been SYSTEMATICALLY been ignored by you, we haven't seen ANY ANSWER of you on those. NOTHING. NADA. That makes you a COWARD, daring not to admit you're wrong but just ducking his head and thinking that the

You are not only a LIAR by saying things that just ARE NOT TRUE but you are also DISHONEST by ignoring the posts of your opponents in debate and re-appearing some days later, feigning as if nothing happened at all. This also makes you a IMPOLITE and ANNOYING little boy who only needs a good whacking on his bare arse.

You can argue over the meaning of evolution if you want, bottom line for me is change is limited. We are not seeing the change required to account for the diversity or complexity of life on this planet in 5 billion years.
.
We have been culturing bacteria in labs for over 150 years. In this time we have had approx 4 million generations of bacteria. We have not seen any change to something else which must happen for evolution to explain what we have now.(Complex multi-celled organisms) At some point we have to go from single celled to multi-celled, then celled dedicated to a certain function. If we have had no such change in 4 million generations, how long is needed for a chimp like animal to turn into a human at 15 years per generation? 60 million years? What about 24 years per generation as we see now in chimps? 96 million years? We are already back into the Mesozoic era. Are there any fossils of a chimp like ancestor to be found?
.
I believe G-d created all living things after their kind. Any minute changes that have happened is part of the original design's ability to adapt. But this is limited. A cat cannot change into a dog no matter how much it needs to adapt. This is called extinction.
You don't understand the theory of evolution too well or even bacteria for that matter.

Complaining about how limited evolution in bacteria is and that no matter how much we observe bacteria evolve they are still bacteria would be like watching the entire order of animalia evolve and complain that they are still Eukaryotes. In fact there is more variation in bacteria than there is in all of eukaria and that includes both humans and plants.

The common ancestor that we shared with chimps was about six to seven million years ago:

http://phys.org/news/2013-12-human-ancestor-l...

What did you base your very high estimate of how long it would take upon?

By the way, evolution does say that all creatures reproduce after their kind. Their is no change of kind in evolution.

Hmm,.... I never get a straight answer to that simple question. Because you are too cowardly to answer since your belief system requires you to believe that the universe made itself and then made life, and that is unscientific, moreover, it's comically stupid
The answer has been given AT LEAST a hundred times: NO.

Pacal wager fail.

What if you are following the wrong God. There have been many thousands of gods in the history of the Earth, perhaps millions. Why would the god of a bunch of ignorant goat herders be the right god? Worse yet there are countless sects of Christianity. Many of them claim other sects are going to hell. What if even if you picked the right god, highly highly unlikely, what if you picked the wrong sect of Christianity? The odds are huge that even if there is a god that you will be going to hell too.

And in fact you may be going to a worse hell. Many gods are extra cruel to believers in other gods.

Why take the chance?

Did the universe create itself then create life? NO, the word create is wrong and life emerged out of the conditions within the universe.
Did the universe just happen? We don't know and you don't know. Because you have not a shred of proof for your god.
Did life just happen? NO.
Did a creator create the universe and all life? NO. Unless you come with evidence for it.

some believe the BBT and some believe in a creator.
Any question about the universe creating itself is senseless and superfluous because, first, the word "create" is wrong and, second, the idea that the universe is self-containing is only one out of many rival theories, like the multiverse and an everlasting universe that expands, rebounds to a very dense state of energy, re-expands etc.

For the BBT there is at least compelling empirical evidence and for God there is not even a shred of evidence.

Sure atheists have something to defend - the First Amendment. Most American fundies want that destroyed.

Perhaps the best thing that the atheist, agnostic and RATIONAL theists (Christian, Muslim and otherwise) can do is to sit back and let all you "God-fearing, gun-totin', the 'still-beating heart of my enemy in my teeth' Christians" and the "scimitar swirling muslims" destroy each other!

The rest of us will sit on the sidelines, and shake our heads at your foolishness.

Your idea of "holy" is a twisted characterization of what the word means to those of us not so indoctrinated. Enjoy your stay in hell.
