You can call it whatever you want. It is hilarious to me when Man makes assumptions about life on Earth 20 million years ago
We simply have no clue what the World looked like back then because Man was not there.
Do we have no clue of what happened at a crime scene just because nobody here now witnessed it directly (or is not saying). You don't think murder weapons, fingerprints, evidence of break-in, etc etc, would give us a clue?
We can tell a lot about the past by looking at the clues it left behind.
