Things are too complex for God to have them evolve?

Sorry. Both you and the bible are wrong at times. You can believe otherwise but you will still be wrong.

I didn't say the whole thing was allegorical. Yes, there were historical places and people mentioned in the Bible. But if a particular story portrays a message that is an important element of Christianity, isn't the message the important part? Aesop's Fables most likely didn't happen exactly as written, does that mean we ignore any life lessons they provide? Of course not.
If science discovers things that contradicts a particular, literal interpretation of the Bible you can choose to renounce your faith (but in that case how strong was it in the first place?) or you can choose to reconcile your faith with the reality that science provides. Plenty of Christians are able to do that. They believe in God, the divinity of Christ, they are good people, etc. They believe in the Truths in the Bible without requiring every single word to be a literal retelling of things how they happened. So who are we to tell them they are not really Christians when they are doing all the things Christians should do?
What you can't choose to do is reject science (especially not on a computer, that is just silly), or to consider science evil or trying to deceive us or that evolution is some kind of conspiracy because it really isn't. Evolution is not trying to shake your faith.
Well said.

The entire history of evolution from the evolution of life from non-life to the evolution of vertebrates from invertebrates to the evolution of man from the ape is strikingly devoid of intermediates: the links are all missing in the fossil record, just as they are in the present world.
That may have been 150 years ago when the theory had first come out. That is far from the case today.

Why do creatards think that there is no advancement in science?

There aren't countless things in the Bible. Then it would have no ending.
Then give me an example of evolution that is 100% backed up by fact and ya no shit its called a figure of speech

In Egypt there has been writings found that tell of people and events from the bible for one example. for the complexity thing look at a giraffe its neck is so long that when it bends down to get water it should die but it doesn't because of special thin in its body plus more things for when it stands and then walks or runs it would need all of these components to survive it couldn't have evolved these over time it just doesn't work

Far from it: it is now evident that many events of biblical history did not take place in either the particular era or the manner described. Some of the most famous events in the Bible clearly never happened at all.

http://www.nytimes.com/books/first/f/finkelst...

You are reciting opinionated concepts contrary to what is known.
The fact is the giraffe isn't a robust species, and you are correct about it dieing, but not about it's evolution.

The end of the Pliocene epoch (2.5-6 million years ago) saw a number of long necked giraffids evolve, but largely unsuccessfully with only 2 species surviving to this day

http://www.giraffeconservation.org/giraffe_fa...

But specifically archeology reveals the bible is fabricated, exaggerated , and largely untrue , it is to be considered largely no more than historical fiction.

Ah yes, the last refuge of the defeated fundie. False accusation, name calling and straw men.

You don't understand science, the science of biology or the theory of evolution. It is evident in your questions which don't make sense. When confronted with facts you coil up and hiss.

Nick, your language is getting utterly salty. Did you pick that up at Larry Flynt's garage sale or is this a hint of you taking refuge in the last hiding place?

There are numerous examples of evidence that support evolution. The universality of DNA, the fossil record (please see that of the horse, whale, reptiles to mammals as good examples), radiometric dating, genetics, the evolution of lactose tolerance, the evolution of the ice-binding glycoprotein of notothenoid fish, the evolution of the species diversity of Lake Victoria cichlids from a small founder group of one or a few species to 500 species in 15,000 years. I could go on, but I will finish by pointing out that it is a body of knowledge that supports evolution. We have found no other scientific explanation that explains these data. We have found no evidence of a designer in action to produce these data.

All of this and no evidence to state that there is no God. In fact, science doesn't deal with the existence of God. It just deals with explanation nature based on a rational understanding of the facts. Where science clashes with religion is on the literal interpretation of ancient texts and not the idea behind them.

If Evolution is not just wrong, but so obviously wrong that its wrongness can be explained by a blog or pamphlet, why do so many scientists from different countries, different cultures, different political affiliations, different philosophies and different religious support it?
