Lucid dreaming is a real thing, and many people practice it all the time.
Personally, I think they're nuts, I prefer the random story being told to help spark the creative processes, guiding them is too much control.
for several years i kept a dream log to better remember my dreams. it works very well. one of the side benefits for many is the increase in lucid dreaming and even being able to control lucid dreaming to a much greater extent. i never started a drream topic on my own, not sure if one can, but i have changed many dreams and controlled them for quite a while. once even floated into the room i was sleepong in and looked at myself...with the book i had been reading plopped on my chest where it had fell...very cool!

Pretty good logic, only that the continents submerged under the weight of the water and resurfaced after the num of days recorded by Noah. Stand upon the edges of the broken crustal basalts @ the Great Unconformity and fear miss. I have.
Say what??? No logic involved, just pure science, mathematics and physical facts

Or are you saying that you have physical evidence to confirm Noah’s flood, which proves science wrong? May I suggest you publish this and make yourself the person who proved the babble correct, you would be rich and famous beyond avarice, church leaders would be beating a path to you door requesting an interview. Are you any good at walking on water too?

are you so upset for being shown your god myth is a lie that you have to lash out at others? the rational thing to do would be to re-evaluate your cult membership and beliefs...

At one point everyone did speak one language, then they branched off as populations became isolated and evolved into what we use today.
The English language, to the colonists from England, was native to them. Just as the French brought the French language here and the ... well, Spanish brought the Spanish here ... originally. But people in England still have to learn English, just like we do.
I am not talking of then but now. English is native to the English, they stand a better chance of understanding it than a stranger who is not native to English.

I think God is always at work and don't think we are semi-dead or lifeless when asleep. Many REM studies reflect high levels of brain activity.
That is your own ideas of the picture.

We don't have a false god that says "judge lest not you be judged".

And that is actually a cautionary statement. It is good advice more than it is a commandment.

Yes, we are all guilty of name calling. When it is between creationists and me, I usually let the creationist throw the first stone. Then I don't feel too guilty when I throw a volley back at them.

Alright, let's pretend your god is real and that it is somehow telling these people all about dreams, then they're correct, or your god is a liar. Well, they have found there is nothing "magical" about dreams at all.
You have no idea of what you are talking about.
God is not a mortal, but the ever living immortal God.

Wow.

Dreams are nothing more than the manifestations of an ACTIVE, HEALTHY -- yet unconscious mind.

Your assertion that sleep is 'half-dead' is absurd.

Unconscious, yes.'Half-dead'? Not in the least.

I will tell you ICR's work by Steve Austin is right on here, Steve has his PhD from Penn State on the subject. One should be careful of quoting current dogma on these matters unless they are your day job or you have worked the rocks yourself. It all fits for me.
It "fits for you" solely because of your a priori fundamentalist Christian Bible beliefs which require the acceptance of the Genesis creation myth as literal, factual history (otherwise, in your mind, the entire edifice of Fall/Redemption theology immediately collapses and there would be no need to "believe in Jesus" and no need to be "saved.")

What do the rest of your colleagues make of these supposed anomalies in coal formation? Do they all express shock and the reversion of their beliefs into Young Earth?

Let me ask you something I have repeatedly asked of Christian YECs here on TOPIX and never gotten a response. It seems like a reasonable question to me:

Can you give us the name of one qualified working PhD biologist or geologist who is NOT a Christian and NOT religious, but yet who thinks the world is only 6000 years old and humanity sprang from two first humans 6000 years ago BASED SOLELY ON THE EVIDENCE?

This should be easy for you since you seem connected to the YEC websites and knowledge base and if such a person exists, their name would likely be bandied about very freely, I would think.
