<quoted text>why do you think you guess is correct.

most people who know what they are talking about say there was, in fact, an atmosphere. and if there are organic molecules in space and we know they can form from the "primoodial soup" experiments, it would seem you concept fo just rain and rocks is totally wqrong.

how do you get rain if there is no atmosphere? oops!!!

isn't rains just H2O? Ooops..what is the O? ooops!

nice try, though...
Yup H2O and Rocks. Nothing to separate the oxygen from the hydrogen.

Lightning will do that. and sonce we now know there was an atmosphere becasue there is rain, we will get lightning. even heat will seperate O out of water.

that's what they told the people in jersey before Sandy hit!

(well, the jersey atmosphere is far more noxious than that of the primordial Earth...)

<quoted text>yet its just the rehash of so many previous religous myths? and you call that unique? you've been brainwashed by a cult.
Rehash? Jesus lived and said the things he did, but the crucial and significant difference lies in his death and resurrection, power over death, power to live. Choose to believe or not, Doesn't matter to me. Besides, if it is "just a rehash", why not live by those solid principles and teachings.

oh that's right hominids on the Earth at the same time as humans, but your god didn't create them...hmmm
Were they created by the other gods that your jealous god mentioned ?
Neanderthals!
Another guess or projections.
Human is human and seen is believing.

God would be denied even with overwhelming scientific evidence.
(admitted by more than one evolutionist on this forum.)
So the request is a little redundant, don't ya think?
No.

Produce proof of a deity, and I'll change my beliefs. Naturally.
To do otherwise, as you do, would be an insane denial or reality.

Of course, if the deity in question is the Abrahamic one, I'm immediately joining the Resistance.

Do You Capitalize the Word "God"?
One of the most common questions people ask about religious words is whether to capitalize the word “god.”
The name of any specific deity is capitalized just like any other name, so when “God” is used to refer to “the one God,”(in other words, in any monotheistic religion) it is capitalized.
For example, you’d capitalize “God” in this sentence:
Some Christians give thanks to God before every meal.
When referring to gods in general, however, or using the word "god" descriptively, keep it lowercase:
The Romans believed a god named Jupiter ruled the heavens.
The Greek gods were always causing trouble for humans.
The same rule holds true for Yahweh, Allah, Zeus, and the names of gods in other religions. They are capitalized.

"Indeed, it would be rather juvenile to misspell God simply in order to insult theists. If such an atheist had so little respect for another person, why even waste the time writing to them in the first place, much less deliberately trying to hurt them at the same time? "
I generally use "deity" - and all gods are the same.

Where in space? Can you point them out?
Of course you do know amino acids are not alive right?
Oh, dear.

From NASA: http://www.nasa.gov/topics/solarsystem/featur...

"In the study, scientists with the Astrobiology Analytical Laboratory at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., analyzed samples from fourteen carbon-rich meteorites with minerals that indicated they had experienced high temperatures – in some cases, over 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit. They found amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins, used by life to speed up chemical reactions and build structures like hair, skin, and nails."

From the IOP: http://physicsworld.com/cws/article/news/2003...

"...the discovery of glycine is the first step in establishing the crucial link between amino acids in space and the emergence of life in the solar system or, indeed, elsewhere in the galaxy. The molecular spectra seen in interstellar gas clouds closely matches those found in comets and meteorites, and comparing them could in principle allow astronomers - or exobiologists - to trace the origin of the Earth's early chemistry to its parent gas cloud."

From almost 10 million results in less than a quarter of a second.

And of course amino acids aren't alive - they're just essential to life as we know it.

There is no proof of that.
A mere guess of what might have been 4 billions years ago.
Rain and rocks that's all there was.
No atmosphere, no air, no oxygen.
Just rain and rocks.
You really don't get it, do you?

Life is chemistry, child.

Unlike what some crazy clueless yahoos might say. Evolution is fact and has been proven over and over again. And if anyone thinks they can disprove it, wright it down, get it peer reviewed, and collect your nobel prize and the millions of dollars being offered by several organizations to dis prove it...

End of story ...
