a complex society with a culture and government. Why did early civilizations have similarities but existed in different parts of the world? Did God decide to show up at about 10,000 BC in different cultures?
perhaps it took that long for groups of people to organize their efforts.

Read the book "guns germs, and steel." it is very edifying.

Quite.

I love folks who start off with "there is no factual evidence of evolution". Of course there is. Now you may dispute the interpretation of it but to say it doesn't exist is pure bullshit.

All of it. The model doesn't work. When the model was proposed in earlier times when we understood less about biology, it might have made sense. But now that we now know that mutations in all species are extremely rare, and POSITIVE mutations are even more rare, the model falls apart.

Now we know through biology that changes in any species are extremely difficult to occur naturally, and still extremely difficult to force by manipulation. We cannot even force evolution to happen, let alone stand by an observe it.

Does that help?

that also, is not factually correct. nice try. again, which parts of it are incorrect?

difficult to force? seriously dude?!?!? we are making new species of plants every year! we have manipulated animals so they glow in the freakin' dark?

you are so far over your idiotic head that you can't even fathom (pun intended..) the depths ( again) of your ignorance.

<quoted text>sure we can! humans have created thousands of gods. most of them more interesting than yours.
maybe the universe was, is and always will be and then humans created god.(well, we know the last part is true. llok at all the human traits your mythical god has, he is a vindictive, jealous little prick. why would a god be so human like if humans didn't invent him?
We invented the god concept and yet we will all die, either timely or time, why?
Since we are the inventors then why can we not inmortalise .

Then you don't know much about archeology then. How did they find fossils from millions of years ago if there is no way to trace when the earliest civilizations came to existence? It doesn't make sense.
Please try not to begin your discussions with personal attacks, or assumptions about the other person. I what I already stated is confirmed by archeologists curious as to what would remain of OUR civilization thousands of years from now.

And fossils have nothing to do with archeology, you are mixing two different studies, one that deals with human development, and another that deals with biological development. Human structures are seldom fossilized, Pompeii was a rarity being preserved by volcanic ash. There COULD be traces of much earlier civilizations that have not been found yet. But the vast majority things built are of wood, not stone, just like today. Around ancient Rome was a vast suburb of wooden homes, far outside the wall, of which there is very little evidence of today. We get our word suburb from suburbia. As for fossils, we only have a tiny fraction of every living species that may have existed as well, so it makes perfect sense that we cannot assume very much at all about history.

So, most of even a current civilization like Rome or Greece is mostly gone. What would be left of 10,000 years? Much, much less.

Therefore, even a highly advanced civilization could have existed that we will never know about.

LOL!

It is entirely correct. You are welcome to prove otherwise. No one has yet, and they've been working very hard to find a better model than currently exists.

Genetic engineering does not make new species, it changes current ones for some specific purpose, like seedless grapes.

But seedless grapes is not a positive change for evolution, as obviously, such grapes would go extinct the moment humans stopped growing them.

That is not evolution. Nor does it force evolution.

Now, if you have actual evidence of enough positive mutations occurring in any species that it created a new species, let's see the data. I assure you, you'd be a hero of the scientific community of you could pull that off.

Because it is against the laws of our universe. you can sell the idea to the ignorant masses and garner great wealth and power by doing so. and yeah to you cult leader that does so...capitalism at it's best. just don't peddle that shit here in the world of brain cells...
