I understood Free Servant to imply that if the trees date back from so long ago, that implies that they speciated that long ago.
If they speciated that long ago, then it is most likely that all of life speciated from the very beginning.
That, in turn, implies that every kind was created in the very beginning, as Creationism predicts, and that we are not all descended from a lowly protozoa, as Evolutionary theory predicts.

Please, that is only my interpretation of what Free Servant meant.
Free Servant, is that what you meant?

And don't both instincts play an Evolutionary function?
Instinct also has nothing to do with a CIVIL RIGHT..........This is all about a legal civil contract between two people.......NO RELIGION NO HATE NO BIGOTRY CHANGES THAT FACT.

Why do I even try to explain the unexplicable?
Just like the Grinch who stole christmas "oh the Who-manity!"
Any concept one would have of "God" would have to be wrong...considering the limits of the mind. I believe this might be why "God" is used because of it's generic definition..."God" truly is undefinable.

Actually, I'm all for civil rights but this isn't it. I'm for a degree of socialism too, but in small increments, not in mandates that have no specified end date. Personally, I don't like the State meddling in marriage at all. Create a universal civil union contract that has no basis on sex and leave it at that.
In which case no need for marriage. It's superfluous and anyone who wants a legal partner can have a civil union. Those who prefer the religious traditions of marriage can be married by their church, but the union will not be legally recognized by the state. Only their religion.
Otherwise if we don't get rid of marriage then the only other option to ensure that rights remain equal for all is to allow gays to legally get married.
anonymous wrote:
The Church can even bar people from marriage if they have not gotten that contract, but get rid of the State sanctioning of any types of sexual relationships and stop punishing men and women for pregnancies out of wedlock. Stop subsidizing breeding.
How about the state minds its own business when it comes to sexual relationships? The churches too.

Hmm. Kinda see good and bad points here. But it's tangential.

This is a form of behavior modification on the part of the State. All of those efforts are destined to fester the evil at work, not fix it. The gay "thang"? Well, watch and see!
Rationality isn't at work here. Party loyalists won't ever see it though so it's important to address behavior modification WITH behavior modification!(behavior modification: yet another bland platitude that amounts to state authorized bullying) They can walk away anytime! They won't!:)
No need for "behaviour modification" if everyone has equal rights. But I thought behaviour modification required the use of tin foil hats. Or was that to protect ourselves against it? Meh, I can't keep track.

Sorces of information. include the following, and if is about the Darwinism being racist, look up his racist book "In The Decent Of Man." Nova's "Decoding Neanderthals," and "The Twisted Cross," by Carr, concerning the false religion part. Also, Ed Deckers book on Freemasonry, John Ankerberg's countercult books such as "The Encyclopedia of New Age Cults And False Religions," Texe Marr's Dark Majesty," exposing the Freemasonry cult and their racism in his many books. Gary Kah's "New World Religions," ae all good sources of information. All of these books have bibliographies and footnotes citing their sources for legitimacy and accuracy. Why is Darwinism still being taught as factual Science in our public schools. We know all the false information about the in between stages that were exposed, and many hoaxes involved as well. These findings might well be good reason for our nation to demand that our schools do not teach Darwinism as fact, however the most important reason to end Darwinism as being taught as fact is the simple fact that it is an aspect of a racist religion called spiritual evolution, and since Darwin himself made racist statements in his book "In The Decent Of Man," he shows that he supported these false religious beliefs. In this book Darwin states " the Caucasian race is the highest evolved race," later states " eventually the highest evolved race will annihilate the lesser evolved races."
These statements are indicative of the false religious beliefs that involve teachings on spiritual evolution, and so groups such as those supporting the new age movement in pre Nazi Germany began using his books to attempt to use evolutionary theories to make their religion appear to be fact. The new age movement of Nazi Germany, much like that of America's new age movement's beliefs, involved teaching that a spirit begins as a smaller "lesser," life form, which will begin the "cycle of life," of being continuously reincarnated every time their current life form dies. The spirit, as this false religion teaches, goes through a process of " transmigration," going through many different types of life forms being reincarnated until reaching the highest life form which is man. Unfortunately they believe the minority races are the sub human lesser evolved stages of man.
Hinduism, Buddhism, and many other eastern religions have aspects of this false doctrine. India's class system, born in Hindu doctrine of spiritual evolution, became the law in their theocracy. The highest social class is their Brahmans, considered the most highly evolved even to be worshipped as a god on Earth, while the lowest in their class system will be forced to serve them as a slave class. Few discuss that the darkest skin is a sign of their forced low social status.
The new age movement in Nazi Germany used books by Darwin to make these popular eastern religions to give the appearance of their beliefs being factual, backed up by Science.
To keep history from repeating itself, we must teach this fact exposing Darwinism for what it is. It was an attempt to make the false religious beliefs that included spiritual evolution teachings to appear to have the credibility of Scientific proof to back up their false doctrine.
Our public schools are no place for this kind of false teaching to be brought forth to appear as fact.

Ah, I see you're on a spamfest. Well done for trolling the forum. Here we go again:

Darwin on race

"By the way, a negro lived in Edinburgh, who had travelled with Waterton and gained his livelihood by stuffing birds, which he did excellently; he gave me lessons for payment, and I used often to sit with him, for he was a very pleasant and intelligent man."

"Great God how I should like to see the greatest curse on Earth Slavery abolished."

"For instance, early in the voyage at Bahia in Brazil he defended and praised slavery, which I abominated, and told me that he had just visited a great slave-owner, who had called up many of his slaves and asked them whether they were happy, and whether they wished to be free, and all answered ďNo.Ē I then asked him, perhaps with a sneer, whether he thought that the answers of slaves in the presence of their master was worth anything. This made him excessively angry, and he said that as I doubted his word, we could not live any longer together."

"The Indians are now so terrified that they offer no resistance in a body, but each flies, neglecting even his wife and children; but when overtaken, like wild animals, they fight against any number to the last momentÖ.Every one here is fully convinced that this is the most just war, because it is against barbarians. Who would believe in this age that such atrocities could be committed in a Christian civilized country?"

"This posta was commanded by a negro lieutenant, born in Africa: to his credit be it said, there was not a ranche between the Colorado and Buenos Ayres in nearly such neat order as hisÖ.I did not anywhere meet a more civil and obliging man than this negro; it was therefore the more painful to see that he would not sit down and eat with us."

"I was pleased with nothing so much as with the inhabitants. There is a mildness in the expression of their countenances which at once banishes the idea of a savage; and intelligence which shows that they are advancing in civilizationÖ.It has been remarked, that it requires little habit to make a dark skin more pleasing and natural to the eye of an European than his own colour. A white man bathing by the side of a Tahitian, was like a plant bleached by the gardenerís art compared with a fine dark green one growing vigorously in the open fields." (credit to PT)

Of course Darwin's alleged racial views (which tend to be misquotes) are irrelevant to the scientific validity of evolution, just as Tycho Brahe being an ahole was irrelevant to his contributions to astronomy. Also racism is not the basis of evolution as it stands today, as the modern evolutionary synthesis does not hold that any one race is any "better" than any other.

Actually science is saying that the Universe came from nothing.

God would have to be out side of time in space to create the Universe...and being out side of time and space, he would not be subject to birth and death...therefore he would be immortal.
