President Obama wasn't naturalized in the United States, because he was *born* in the United States, as an American citizen.

He is half-Kenyan by *ancestry*, but that doesn't change his U.S. citizenship.

Nonsense. Naturalization is the process of acquiring citizenship when one is not a citizen by birth.

President Obama was born in the United States. Therefore, he is a U.S. citizen by birth, not by naturalization.

Remember, his father is African by origin.

That is not naturalization. That is born citizenship.

So if they spoke Old English on the boats *before* they first set foot in England, then that means that English did not originate in England.
Thank you for finally admitting that English did not originate in England.
No, the Germans language OS totally seperate from English, they ate polar opposites, English has Celtic,Viking,Roman and norse, with a little angol in the south, Germans speak German, English speak English

We're not talking about modern English and modern German. We're talking about *Old English*(aka Anglo-Saxon).
straa wrote:

Viking and Roman aren't languages. Certainly, Old English was influenced by Old Norse, as well as by Latin. But Old English existed before it was influenced by Old Norse.

The English language was created by the Angles and the Saxons, before there were people known as "English".

Surely English started in England. An amalgam of various linguistic influences but fundamentally built around the same base language of old English.
But if you're referring to its West Germanic origins then you are half correct. The origins are west germanic but the English language itself, was at the time, exclusive to Engalnd. Throw in a bit of Latin, touch of Norse and a lot of French after 1066 and you have what we now call English.
The fact that Americans butcher the Language a little bit should serve as a reminder that American English is a further corruption/evolution of the language. 1000 years from now there may be arguments that American English is somehow distinct from English English.
But English as a language DID start in England, it was never spoken anywhere else at the time of its inception.
Now compare that to the claims Charles Idemi tries to make concerning language today. Everything is black/white to him, no shades of grey.

France speaks French, England speaks English, Italy speaks Italian, Spain speaks Spanish. It's all pure and there's no crossovers whatsoever.

It's indicative of the compartmentalized thinking an authoritarian follower.

Yup, it's exactly why he doesn't understand the nature of biological evolution. He can't envision the idea that human biological history blends seamlessly into the history of our pre-human ancestors (no sharp dividing line between human and non-human).

If you are talking about the word or symbol of one and two. The math of the statement man didn't defined God did.
I'm having trouble trying to understand what you are saying here. I'm not picking up on a point where there's a missing word or two or a missing comma or period that I can fill in. Could you rephrase your idea?

That question, settles every other questions.
That only opens up a very problematic question for you.

Would you say that the language has evolved into it's current day form?

If not, I be delighted for you to show me someone who speak the original English language as it was when it started.

And if language can evolve, what else can?

<quoted text> How?
Can you control nature?
Nature goes on without any interference, meteorologist studies it, but not too accurately. They may forecast right and some times, wrong.
This alone lives us to the very question, " God ".
And we can study nature and prepare for its worst effects.

You can build a roof to keep the rain from getting you wet instead of hiding in a cave.

You can put a lightning rod on that roof to direct the electricity away to prevent your roof from catching fire.

We can discover a hurricane and a fair chance of its likely path so that those in the danger zone can prepare.

What does your religion offer for such things? Pray harder?

And you failed to answer the questions I posed even when someone else reposted them asking you to answer.

Here they are again for a third time:

Whoa. wait a sec here...
Was not man created in the image of God?
Certainly not the physical form (If god has a physical form, He'd have to be Female. Men can not give birth to life. Unless he/she is transgender at will. How confusing is that?)
Was man created with the thinking of God? Doubtful there. We're not omniscient. And the God of the bible sounds insane but has a plan?
What else is there than the spirit? Which some would call the soul?
No measurable physical evidence except by assertion.

100,000-year-old art kit found in South Africa

Researchers investigating Blombos Cave in Cape Town, South Africa uncovered the oldest known evidence of painting by early humans. Archaeologists discovered two "kits," for mixing and forming ocher — a reddish pigment believed to be used as a dye. The find pushes back the date by which humans were practicing complex art approximately 40,000 years, all the way back to 100,000 years ago.

Ancient settlement upends our perception of human evolution

Tools discovered during an excavation in the United Arab Emirates were found to date back at least 100,000 years, indicating that our ancestors may have left Africa as early as 125,000 years ago. Genetic evidence has long suggested that modern humans did not leave Africa until about 60,000 years ago, but these tools appear to be the work of our ancestors and not other hominids like Neanderthals. That being said, our understanding of how and when humans really evolved continues to take shape…

Slang is what made all the modern languages, it's what made all the languages. Sometimes you say suck stupid things you appear as uneducated as a street rat.
What is slang today becomes part of the language tomorrow, and eventually the new version or form of that language. The areas which adopt different slang eventually formulate different languages, this is why, the real reason, there is now British and American English. In British English, calling someone a bloody twat is the same thing as calling someone a f-ing b-ch in American English. The words are completely different but the meaning was filled by something the locals preferred for each derivation.
It's not slang that destroys language, it's religitards that refuse to keep words defined as one thing after they have been canonized that can destroy a language.
In one sentence, frustration.
What is your headache with Christians?

And if you noticed, he redirected the topic to language instead of trying to defend his religion. In that he was quite successful.

The focus has been diverted from problematic questions about his religion and the evo/crevo debate.
