Years ago I drove two women and their big dog cross country in an RV.

One of the stops was White Sands in New Mexico. It was fabulous.

http://www.pbase.com/search...

I come from New England where we've seen some serious snow storms of great proportion and I specifically parked the RV right smack in the middle of these sands and the pictures look like snow.

The ladies I was with disrobed and rolled down the hills. So did the dog. How silly ... and the sand everywhere.

Haha

Monsterrat - a monastery in spain
u have to take a cable car up to it, and it was awesome. u felt like u were in a different world, different time.
at one point we could hear the choir singing inside the church, and wow just listening to them, gave u goosebumps.
then there was the funicular that took u up even higher. going up I looked back at where we had been walking and the pictures I got from there were amazing. once up top the views were stunning, and if u don't believe in God, well then, being there just might change ur mind. u get the sense of just how big the world really is, and yet u know that's just a small piece of it.
we walked up for only a short distance because of the time, we still had to go back down and then find our way back to the hotel in Barcelona, but it was a day I will never, ever forget..

Australia, if you've never been there you should go at least once but it's not something you can totally appreciate in a week or two but what you do
soak in will take you back.
It's not Sydney so much as it is the smaller towns
with architecture unbelievable. Melbourne especially since each building was constructed by people from different parts of the world.
Their culture and general disposition is so different from ours. They enjoy life 1st, then comes whatever.

hum USA called the melting pot of the world..

Did you ever wonder why the United States is called a melting pot? Do you even know what it means to call our country a melting pot?

This great land of ours has been attracting people from all over the world since its independence from British rule in 1783, at the end of the Revolutionary War. They came to this country leaving behind their homeland in order to make a better life for themselves. On the Statue of Liberty it reads "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free...". The Constitution of the United States starts with the words "We the people...". This is what our country is all about.
