Um, yeah....You'd think Bush would have gotten better after five years! Well, YOU would...

Seriously, how could anybody expect that absence should make the heart grow fonder in Bush's case? Are those soldiers and Marines any less dead? Same with those Iraqi civilians. Was it necessary to put that war AND Afghanistan on a credit card? Is Saddam Hussein any less *responsible* for 9/11 than he wasn't then?

I could go on but, you'd never get the point anyway if you think that sorry POS was a "crutch".

5. Avoid cliches like the plague.(They're old hat)
6. Also, always avoid annoying alliteration.
7. Be more or less specific.
8. Parenthetical remarks (however relevant) are (usually) unnecessary.
9. Also too, never, ever use repetitive redundancies.
10. No sentence fragments.
11. Contractions aren't necessary and shouldn't be used.
12. Foreign words and phrases are not apropos.
13. Do not be redundant; do not use more words than necessary; it's

14. One should NEVER generalize.
15. Comparisons are as bad as cliches.
16. Eschew ampersands & abbreviations, etc.
17. One-word sentences? Eliminate.
18. Analogies in writing are like feathers on a snake.
19. The passive voice is to be ignored.
20. Eliminate commas, that are, not necessary. Parenthetical words

21. Never use a big word when a diminutive one would suffice.
22. Use words correctly, irregardless of how others use them.
23. Understatement is always the absolute best way to put forth earth-
shaking ideas.
24. Eliminate quotations. As Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "I hate
quotations. Tell me what you know."
25. If you've heard it once, you've heard it a thousand times: Resist
hyperbole; not one writer in a million can use it correctly.
26. Puns are for children, not groan readers.
27. Go around the barn at high noon to avoid colloquialisms.
28. Even IF a mixed metaphor sings, it should be derailed.
29. Who needs rhetorical questions?
30. Exaggeration is a billion times worse than understatement.
And the last one...
31. Proofread carefully to see if you any words out.

I personally think it had to do with his approval rating of 22% upon exit - ain't nobody like this guy outside of his immediate family when he left.

And yet he still had a higher average approval rating than Obama (49% versus 49.4 %). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Approval_rating as well as a higher maximum approval rating (91% versus 69%)

No sweat, lets look at Bushs approval at the end of his first term then. It was 62% http://www.gallup.com/poll/14662/Bush-Average... That is considerably above Obamas 49%.........

Hitler was by far the most popular Furher- EVER! Let's see even one Furher try to beat his 100% approval rating! Why, he was even more popular that GW Bush would later be! Well, he had one HUGE war going on where as Bush had two small ones. "(Bush) had two small ones"!! LOL! Typical republican, eh? Oh my- republicans do suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome!

Nope, for anyone in the Southwest corridor with Mexico. You will note that being a citizen is NOT a prerequisite------ SEC. 1107. ACCESS TO EMERGENCY PERSONNEL.

(A) regularly resides or works in the Southwest Border region;

(B) is at greater risk of border violence due to the lack of cellular service at his or her residence or business and his or her proximity to the Southern border.(3) USE OF GRANTS.—Grants awarded under
this subsection may be used to purchase satellite telephone communications systems and service that—
(A) can provide access to 9–1–1 service;
and
(B) are equipped with global positioning systems.
(4) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.— There is authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the grant program established under this subsection.

At the end of Bush's first term, Gallup showed his approval rating at around 42%, not 62%. No fair averaging only one poll Billy.

http://www.hist.umn.edu/~ruggles/Approval.htm

And Obama wasn't riding Clinton's coat tails either. Bush's exit approval rating of 22% was the lowest since Nixon - another Republican.
