"Homophobe" is a made-up word by liberals that means absolutely nothing. Loosely translated it means- homo=same, phobia=fear. Same fear???

Nope, I just fear PERVERTS being around my family. As well as thieves/crooks. Another reason why I don't like liberals.

You're mad because I gave my opinion? And yes, it's a made-up word. By a liberal even.

Although sexual attitudes tracing back to Ancient Greece (8th to 6th centuries BC to the end of antiquity (ca. 600 AD)) have been termed homophobia by scholars, the term itself is relatively new.[10] Coined by George Weinberg, a psychologist, in the 1960s,[11] the term homophobia is a blend[12][13][14] of (1) the word homosexual, itself a mix of neo-classical morphemes, and (2) phobia from the Greek φόβ ος, Phóbos, meaning "fear" or "morbid fear". Weinberg is credited as the first person to have used the term in speech.[10] The word homophobia first appeared in print in an article written for the May 23, 1969, edition of the American tabloid Screw, in which the word was used to refer to heterosexual men's fear that others might think they are gay.[10]

Maybe you should read some of thisassholes posts before you give him props? There are plenty of examples all over Topix. Or just ask around. Most people with an ounce of integrity will tell you.

since you put so much thought, time and research into defending your actions it would seem to me your intelligent enough to not call people lazyassfaggots. maybe you should try minding your own business instead of coming on here just to insult someone because their life style doesn't go along with what you believe is correct. And maybe it's none of your business why I propped him but if you must know it was because of his reference to the hotel California song by the eagles which I found to be pretty clever. I don't follow him around on topix to
be sure I agree with his life style before I decide whether he's worthy of a prop or not. had you come on here and said something I found clever I may have propped you also, but calling someone on here a lazyassfaggot, while using all your " clever" gray box names just shows me your someone who enjoys coming on here to start sh!t.
Your obsession with liberals is a little disturbing btw, this is a big world and there's always going to be differences in what we believe in and none of us are going to be completely right. I try to live and let live, I gave up on name calling after I became an adult, you should try it.

Actually I have to drive through a couple of suburbs of Milwaukee every now and then - for work. One in particular thought it would be an outstanding idea to close all in roads except for one and repair all the rest. It's been this way for as long as I can remember. The only place worse that I've been through that would be comparable is Chicago or Atlanta. Los Angeles is the worst though.

If I limit myself to local driving, it's not that bad. A couple of miles on the expressway and then it's country roads all the way home.

that would be bad to close all the roads but one.
what gets me is that they wait til mid summer when it is the hottest time to do construction work and you have to sit and sit and sit and sit in traffic til they let you pass.

ah well........could be worse.
we could have to ride in buggies like the olden days and take an entire day to get to ones destination. LOL

have a good day

Lol...I wish they started this stuff in mid-summer. They started closing roads last September and "worked" through the winter - although you would've been hard pressed to find one orange vest during that time.

Have a good one.

have you ever found yourself in a long line of slow moving traffic to eventually discover you were trailing behind a horse and buggie?
holy hamhocks if that doesn't cream my corn! and they are ALLOWED to travel on main hwys apparently.

We have a relative large contingent of Amish out west of Madison near Lacrosse. Other than the obligatory pile of "road apples," jockeying for lane position is a real challenge. Most of them are pretty polite and pull over when they see you approaching.

Our bigger concern up here is idiot drivers from Illinois - my apologies if you're from Illinois.
