Some of the Autumn Chrysanthemum's are outstanding.....i was in Hong Kong in the 80's and saw these 4 Chrysanthemum Trees, like Bonsai trees, about 4 feet tall, in big clay pots.....never seen anything like it anywhere else....truly incredible of the Chinese Gardener......

It seems one of the resident moles rearranged my grape hyacinths. They started blooming in some random places :)

opium poppy. versitile 'and' pretty.

or sunflowers. when I was a kid we had a tiny tiny yard out front with a bit of grass growing. my sister had a mouse and she fed it sunflower seeds. she threw the cage contents outside oneday and later a sunflower grew. tried in later years to grow one again from seed, but no joy

Crocuses

Jonquils

Roses

Wisterias

Pansies

Magnolias

Carnations

Lilies

Daisies

All of the above, as well as many others, depending on the time of year.

Crocuses, hyacinths, daffodils, and tulips are a welcome burst of color after a long cold winter.

By the end of summer, when everything else is done blooming, there is nothing prettier in my neighborhood than my asters.

Suppose I'll have to wait for spring, even though I don't want to wait...but gardening is all about teaching patience.

That looks fun. I can honestly say I've never tried alligator, not even on a stick :)
Happy Belated Birthday by the way! Hope it was great.
