Honeysuckles and white lilacs....of course I do like dandelions. Can we say dandelion wine is a treat and the blossoms deep fried are yummy also?

No one will write

a poem on hibiscus.

Only vulgar words

rhyme with it as such.

A demure red hibiscus is

born as a pink bubble

on a green cup.

Like an exaggerated rose or

Indifferent prose.

If you look into the hundred yellow eyes

it blushes deep inside.

It is an eccentric botanistís pride.

There is now way to work

with it in love or life.

It is just hibiscus-

no rhyme, no reason

No fuss.

Found a new what I hope to be favorite in one of the nursery catalogs this spring. It's called a cocoa-scented daisey. I've already sewn the seeds, can't wait to see if it lives up to the hype.....

opium poppy.....

or; roses are nice as a bunch of flowers, with angel hair & baby's breeze....all colours....but the red ones are classic....said that a nightingale was distraught in love and impaled itself on the thorn of a white rose....by morning the rose was red...then we have red roses
for a view (usually in May) can't beat bluebells....pretty in the woods but when you see a meadow of them...a beautiful sight...doesn't last too many days either before the sheerness of it starts to decline

Sure, I got the seeds from a mail order company--select seeds. Supposed to be a wildflower in South Texas, Berlandiera Lyrata in Latin..... or Ocolatechay Aisyday in the NEW Latin.....lol

Interesting, the flowers are pretty but the plant does look more on the wild side.
