Good news, baby kitties! Bad news, wild fires all over Oklahoma this week-end. Several towns completely devastated! Sad, sad! There was a witness to one fire being started intentionally, if you can believe that! Saw someone in a F-150 throwing lit newspapers into a pile of brush on the side of the road. That town alone lost over 30 homes. I hope they catch the little bass turd! What an awful thing to do!

30 peoples homes, that sounds terrible!
So, kitties huh. My life has turned into a cat-controlled one the last few months. We never had any around for years and years. Now, there are two in the entry all the time. One comes in a lot and is very entertaining. When I go down to my camp, cats sit around and beg all the time. The weird thing is, I can't tell if they are males or females- lol. Never had that problem before. I think the new wild one I brought up from the camp is a female. It has stripes. I'll see if I can find a picture. The white one is the neighbors, but is here an awfully lot.

Had a stray wander up to me on the back porch last week. Later that day I told my know-it-all neighbor about it and she advised: Whatever you do, don't feed it!
My response: That thing sure likes chicken!

BTW, Cats are sociopaths, not that there's necessarily anything wrong with that though. They have no guilt, remorse or empathy.

Good morning all you hoot owls. Hope you are getting a break from the heat. It's only the upper 90's here today. I spent about 45 minutes outside weeding, came in and felt like I had taken a shower in my clothes. It's that muggy already. But, I did manage to get several things weeded--lavender, rosemary, catmint, geraniums, and a few other things......

We had a peach tree grow quite by accident one year when we threw out the seeds and skins after I canned some peach preserves. I'm trying to "recreate" that accident by trying one on the other side of the garden. Since I'm trying, it probably won't work.....lol

I remember when one of my kids "accidentally" grew some seeds...in pots...in his closet...under a grow light.
