You'll never know the answer to this question will you...all I know is it was a well played game...and the Eagles won....so it's time for Dallas to go on vacation...Go Eagles!!!
BTW, many of the Eagles fans, spent today...removing snow from the seats at the Linc...getting ready for the game. This is how much Eagles fans LOVE their team.
Yeah. That's also the M.O. of Green Bay area residents regarding Lambeau Field. Some of them may even be shareholders in the team and working for themselves :) Packers are publicly owned.

Colts pull it out -- 45 to 44. Behind 38-10 early in 3rd quarter, outscore Chiefs 35-6.
1. Chiefs lose 3 or 4 starters from injury or concussion.
2. KC QB Smith was key with his feet for their big lead and in 2nd half in maintaining possessions; plus,
3. Colts QB Luck throws 3 INTs; but also had key runs for possessions.
4. Luck makes play P. Manning wouldn't -- recovers RB fumble and rumbles through KC tacklers to the end-zone.
whadda game! Whew!

There is a reason Colts went for Luck when they got him and let Peyton go, the year Peyton just had may be his last spectacular year, Luck is only beginning, had the Colts held onto Manning they would not be bad enough to draft the top QB and keep continuity in the organization for when Manning stepped down, NE will have to think about Brady's replacement pretty soon as well.

Is publicly owned the reason the franchise stayed in GB and not move down to Milwaukee or other big city?

That's a likely reason they stayed in G.B., but I don't know.

Yeah, Lambeau Field had to be shoveled out for Packers' last home game of the regular season. I saw a news bit about getting paid to do it.

The Broncos once lost that continuity when Elway retired and floundered until recent years, they are gonna be back in that position in a few years.

The Eagles had a better season than anybody expected...to make to the playoffs with a new Coach and QB...I would say that's not too bad...:)

I for 1 am Happy to be past the Andy Reid, Michael Vick debacle...Amen

Most of those guys are going up one on one and at times two on one and even three on one. So they exert more energy. In Rugby and Soccer they are running but they aren't engaging in a battle continuously over and over, it takes less energy.
About 10 years ago maybe longer they made some rule changes to make the games shorter. I was against them. I love football and wanted to see more plays per game. Anyway back then a game could last 4hours, but typically 3 hours and 15 minutes to about 3 hours and 45 minutes. Now the games are around 3 hours and thats only because they fill every opportunity they can with TV commercials. It makes the game unbearable for me. If it werren't for fantasy football I would have given up on it long ago. The actual game is probably 15 minutes long and there is at least 1 hour of commercials and thats conservative.
Fantasy football saved this leagues butt, IMO. Otherwise there are to many commercials and not enough action. At least for me. Still, though, some of the best athletes in the world play it.
Rugby and soccer easily takes more energy, skill and strength.

Rugby you can use different tactics, football, all you do is throw the ball to a man who has to just catch a ball under pressure.

Why do you keep coming to a NFL football thread? This is way out of your league.

I saw a TV spot about Lambeau Field in the morning news programs Saturday. It reminded me that there is a heating system for the field, so that's not exactly frozen tundra at least at start time.

On NFL Today right now, they're rehashing the Chargers/Bengals playoff game in Cincy years ago when there was a chill factor of -59F.

Sorry about the Eagle defeat, Marissa. I had no dog in it, but wanted a close dramatic game. And it was.

It's "Who dey?" time!

Dalton must be consistent-good, however. Bengals defense will hold their own unless they're on the field too much.
