Good luck to the Saints, they are a divisdion rival of mine being a Panther fan.
Good luck to the Panthers as well. They came out of nowhere to take the NFC South.

Colts and Packers make their deadline to avoid local TV black-out. This link also has a photo of the 1967 Ice Bowl between Packers and Cowboys:

Lovie Smith (ex-Bears coach) will get some lovin' from Tampa Bay (for awhile anyway).

Meanwhile, Texans hire Penn State coach who was with Patriots before the PSU gig.

Most of those guys are going up one on one and at times two on one and even three on one. So they exert more energy. In Rugby and Soccer they are running but they aren't engaging in a battle continuously over and over, it takes less energy.

About 10 years ago maybe longer they made some rule changes to make the games shorter. I was against them. I love football and wanted to see more plays per game. Anyway back then a game could last 4hours, but typically 3 hours and 15 minutes to about 3 hours and 45 minutes. Now the games are around 3 hours and thats only because they fill every opportunity they can with TV commercials. It makes the game unbearable for me. If it werren't for fantasy football I would have given up on it long ago. The actual game is probably 15 minutes long and there is at least 1 hour of commercials and thats conservative.

Fantasy football saved this leagues butt, IMO. Otherwise there are to many commercials and not enough action. At least for me. Still, though, some of the best athletes in the world play it.

Does anyone have any upset picks this weekend?

I think KC will take care of business in Indie.

I think GB will kill the 49'ers chances due to cold weather.

The Saints will be rather UnSaintly to the Eagles.

and the Bengals will claw the Chargers to an early playoff death.........

You'll never know the answer to this question will you...all I know is it was a well played game...and the Eagles won....so it's time for Dallas to go on vacation...Go Eagles!!!

BTW, many of the Eagles fans, spent today...removing snow from the seats at the Linc...getting ready for the game. This is how much Eagles fans LOVE their team.

Wait till Sunday, in Green Bay...lol....i could never live in Michigan, again.......Eagles coach is a great offensive talent, if their defense can step it up....they could be dangerous for everyone......Frankly, don't mourn your Cowboys as they played their asses off.....losing by 2...and with Kyle Orten at QB.....againest team that had scored 54 points, the previous game.....

Not a Cowboy fan, never liked them, was a Redskin fan until the Carolina Panthers came to the NFL, not an Eagles fan either but expect them to win against NO and hope that is who the Panthers play Next

KC is overdue o win in the playoffs, they hadn't done so since Joe Montana finished his career with them 20 years ago.

Bengals had not won as playoff game since before that.

This may be the 49ers big challenge, Pack got their superstar back and weather conditions are factors

I think the Eagles win because of location, just like when the 12-4 Saints lost at 7-9 Seattle in the first round a year after winning the SB.

Sorry, I know your a carolina fan, but I think the winner of the SF GB game will go on to the superbowl. It could go either way, but if Lacy can stay healthy throughout the game I give the edge to green Bay..... On the other side I gotta say Denver, just to many weapons......

Eagles could pull it off also in the frigid weather........

Best of luck to you and Carolina..........

Thanx and I have realistic expectations of Carolina, I did not expect them with a 2nd round bye until they beat NO the 2nd time, they beat SF at SF but SF can win in Carolina and potentionally going to Seatlle to try and beat them may be a tall order, Steve Smith needs to be healthy and his years are waning.

I am with you on Denver but I thought the same thing about them a year ago

WOW! OH, WOW!
Colts pull it out -- 45 to 44. Behind 38-10 early in 3rd quarter, outscore Chiefs 35-6.

1. Chiefs lose 3 or 4 starters from injury or concussion.

2. KC QB Smith was key with his feet for their big lead and in 2nd half in maintaining possessions; plus,

3. Colts QB Luck throws 3 INTs; but also had key runs for possessions.

4. Luck makes play P. Manning wouldn't -- recovers RB fumble and rumbles through KC tacklers to the end-zone.

whadda game! Whew!
