I think Shanahan is trying to deflect attention away from the fact that the skins are trying to find a way to get rid of him without having to buy out his contract.

Rams still talk like Bradford is still their quarterback for the future.
Receiving corps is a major issue, too many drops per game at all those positions. Until they have someone who is a 'go-to' guy in crucial situations, they can't advance in the division. Running game is okay, but their offensive line has depth problems as well.
They're going to get a high draft pick next year, and it needs to be done right.

As an outsider, it looks to me that the Rams are good along both trenches....but not a ton of talent, other than there....except Austin....but i don't see then much, just on redzone...

Would have done a better JOB! Minus the nipple freeze. Just a horrific game for us.

What do you think is their major problem? I see a lot of talent in Romo, Witten, Ware, Bryant, Murray.
Why can't they rise above the inconsistent level of play they've been exhibiting again this year?

...imho....as long as jones owns the team they will stink up the field....and romo can own every record in the book, but he will never play in a superbowl.........i've been a cowboys fan forever.....but it is gittin' pretty hard to wait for "next year" when it never arrives..........

Questions I also wonder about. I can't see to come up with a valid reason or excuse. Big bucks for big talent that can't see to get it together. Last season major changes were made, but obviously it did not fix the problems. I'm a loyal fan, but if the other team plays better, then they deserve to win. The Cowboys can keep on breaking records, but doesn't do a darn bit of good if they aren't consistent with winning.

Excellent Brandi...It's not about Romo at all...your problem is Jerry Jone's managing the team like a business, rather than a SPORT.....Oh well, my Bears and Raiders will be watching the playoffs from home, as well....lol...

I'm not taking very much away from McKown's abilities, but the Cowboy's defense has big issues. Rob Ryan's departure from them has impact on this, too.

I think you could have something about Ryan's departure as defensive coordinator. He's certainly done great work making the Saints' defense respectable again.
Some ESPN people day Monte Kiffin's defensive schemes are too dated, still it all comes down to the abilities of the people that you're paying to make the plays on the field.
