Yes, I know it's not the NFL M69 but I thought you'd appreciate the fact I thought of you when I read it.

In a move that has stunned the sports world, President Obama issued a
late night decree and mandated a “Touchdown Tax” against the
University of Alabama football team and redistributed 2 touchdowns to
Notre Dame.

The 14 point tax, which Obama declared “equal and fair”, retroactively
made the score a 28-28 tie – effectively allowing Notre Dame to
maintain their #1 ranking and therefore assume the BCS National
Championship title.

Obama phoned Alabama head coach Nick Saban and stated,“Those
touchdowns, you didn’t score those.” Then, in an impromptu press
conference, Obama further stated “We cannot allow hard work, talent
and dedication to be rewarded. This goes against the American
principals of equality that this administration is striving so hard to
achieve.” He further stated that Alabama’s excessive scoring was an
example of “greed and excessiveness” before vehemently denying that
this move was due to his disdain for the SEC, given Notre Dame’s
proximity to his home town of Chicago.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi applauded the move (as did Harry Reid and
the entire ESPN broadcast team), and stated that she looked forward to
coming up with more ways to tax the collegiate football system.

SuperBowl Feb 3, 2013 in New Orleans ...
Hi ya Bluebonnet Belle (Flower Lady)!

Not discounting the other aspects of team play, I'm rooting for a classic and "sexy" matchup between P. Manning and Brady next. And, I think Rodgers and Wilson will be another "sexy" (and neo-classic) matchup too. But the Texans and 49ers can very well have "something to say" about all that!

Alrighty then.

Props and congrats to the fans of the Ravens, 49ers, and Falcons. Well done.

My fall-back Texans (AFC South like Colts) have a tough row to hoe. Well, they're not getting blown out yet.

Broncos coach Fox is ill-named IMO. All running plays less than 2:00 with no time-outs for Ravens and P. Manning as QB and a touchdown lead???!! One first down and it was all she wrote, the Ravens were on the ropes. He must have thought he was Panthers' coach again.:( The bonehead defensive back shouldn't even had the opportunity to screw up so bad on that deep pass by Flacco.

Lightning knocked the signal off-air at about 13:30 of the first OT and lasted into 2 plays before the Ravens kicked the winning FG in 2nd OT. The NFC game had already started so switched to that channel: same thing. Transmitting towers for both in same general area.

I was pulling hard for the Seahawks....what a finish, it might have helped to use some more clock before scoring, but that's easier said now....Had a brief scary vision of an Atlanta/Houston Superbowl...Thanks, Patriots...btw, is Belichek a consistant sourpuss or what?

Thanks DW - That RAVENs/Broncos game was outstanding football.
Niners looked good, though I found myself thinking about M69 and knowing he wouldn't be impressed.

M69 - What's that avatar and headliner all about that you are sportin' today?
