He'll get absolutely no consideration at MVP if the Vikings miss the playoffs. MVPs historically come from playoff-bound teams. Peterson is the Vikings offense - and even though he gained 203 yards against the Packers, they still lost.
How about dem Vikings Milwaukee69..........

Think they can make it 2 in a row?

He had to move up now. Vikes are in the playoffs and he's the only offense they've had.

I think the #'s are when he gets the ball over 25 times they are 9-0 and under that they are 1-6.

Manning has had a great year, but I just dont think you can look past AP..........He's carried that team on his back..........

As all that is true, and was 10 yards short of making a new season rushing record ... he does move up. Either he's a close second to P. Manning ...

another Co-MVP -- Peterson and P. Manning; ain't impossible at all.

And maybe Peterson gets the Offensive Player of the Year?!

Who deserves Coach of the Year?

Anyone better deserving than "Pagano"/Ahriens of the Colts? Shouldn't Ariens get the award even though Pagano techically "owns" the Colts' season record?

GM of the Year (yep!)

Elway of the Broncos
(forget the name) GM of the Colts
who else?

me -- tie with Broncos and Colts

I think Pete Carroll deserves many votes for, Coach of the Year....Seattle has done so well, so fast....Thay are a dangerous team, no other really want's to face in the playoffs.....If you pick Indy, it is because they did a complete turnaround, with the highest rated Qb in the draft....Carroll accomplished, much the same thing with a 3rd round pick.....

It was a Catch-22.

Lose and we get to play the Vikequeens in 5 degree weather this Saturday night in Lambeau.

Lose and the Bears are out of the playoffs.

Lose and Lovie Smith gets the ax.

I would say that's a win-win situation.

How many times has he gotten them to a superbowl?

If the Vikes lose to the Pack they would have been in the playoffs. Its not like they were 4-12 or anything. Although they did kind of cave the 2'nd 1/2 of the season.

He had them there once - and lost - an abreviated version of the hapless Vikequeens.

In 9 seasons, he's only won the NFC North 3 times.

Face it - Chicago hates black coaches - especially ones that can't win.

Bring back Ditka - maybe after trading away all their draft picks they can finally pick up a decent quaterback that doesn't cry everytime he loses.

There's SO much NFL match-up mayhem between today and the Super Bowl and the NFC is just 'wide-open'. I think Broncos 'D' and 'O' and home field gets them there. I don't think Atlanta (even with home field) can. But I'll 'weasel' it which gives them, Seattle, Green Bay, and San Fran. a shot (not 'Skins this time):

NFC Champs --- 34

Denver Broncos --- 41

Don't think the Colt's have the horsepower...lol...But, the two most dangerous teams about now could be, Bronco's vs. Seahawks.....

Congrats to the fans of the Texans and Packers. For those of those who aren't "invested" in those teams .... man, those 2 games were snoozers.:0

Likely is the same with Colts and Ravens: Ravens 10, Colts 3 at half :-(

Hopefully 'Hawks and 'Skins will light it up later.
