What a heartbreak weekend for them. NFL pre-game show had a statement that quite a few (if not all) couldn't really sleep Saturday night.
For them to play with so much emotion and team/community pride and succeed in the context of a game ... maybe that's a building block to go on.
Sad, sad that the young man couldn't handle himself better and chose to take out another life besides his own.
Yes that suicide of one of the players for Kansas City killing his wife and then killing himself life is short for all of us and how tragic and very sad

For the football match-up aspects of that possibility, the interest is HUGE!

HOT, right! Hank Jr., not so much ... not so much at all. I've never been a fan so just a small, small dose of Jr. goes a long way.

<quoted text>Are Luck's stats better than Manning's his first season? Peyton through a lot of INTs his rookie season. Colts look like they found a keeper again.
I really don't know and really don't want to take the time to research, but yeah P. Manning's first season was pretty much a learning experience with 3 (?) wins and much picks by defense.

About 3 or 4 weeks ago Luck's and P. Manning's stats for the same number of games played this season were so very similar with virtually the same passing yardage ... eery.

Denver would likely stomp on the Colts...as they have a real defense.....

I still have hope for the Eagles, even though 9 losses, never give up hope.
Anyway they had a very good stretch this past decade!

It'll be interesting to see what will will be a greater number at the end of the season for the Eagles - the coaching staff or the win column.

..Sure like Andy Reid, but seem's like he has made every wrong decision, for a few years now....and with the Giants and the Redskins coming on...Oh well....

He's trying to sweep all the evidence of a rotten season under the carpet - it won't work - Andy just isn't that fast. The team has quit on him.

Guess that's what the Babin deal was about...poisonous in the lockeroom....off to Jax, kind like the Mongolia of the NFL...lol...Who woulda thought, the best thing, ever to happen to Del Rio was getting fired there....Bronco's Def. Coordinator, looks pretty good about now, eh?

I would agree ... Del Rio at Broncos is fortuitous, as the Broncos' defense was solid last season helping to get to the playoffs then complementing the Tebow phenomenon. This season that defense with an offense that includes the potential NFL MVP quarterback.

<quoted text>I remember seeing Payton play in person vs the Ravens in Baltimore the Sunday right after Thanksgiving 1998. I think that was his rookie season. The Ravens had a furious comeback and won a high scoring game 38-36 or something like it. The QB for the Ravens? John Harbaugh's brother Jim lol. I think he messed up putting Kaepernick in as the starter after A Smiths injury had healed. Rams seem to have the 9ers number this year. Alex Smith has really been dissed by the 9ers the past year.
lookt lik kaepernick's dern better througher

A. Smith is free agent after this season? I think that's true, and should be looking to go elsewhere.

PEyton M.(Payton would be Sean, for one) and the Colts only had 3 wins (4 max) in his rookie season.

You're right, looked it up. Under contract through 2014 after signing 3 year extension after 2011 season.
