I've never been a fan of Turner's. I'm still upset they fired Marty.
You guys should've picked up Abe Gibron while he was still "boots down."

Nice to see my boy Aaron Rodgers toss a couple for a change...6 TD's...and the Packers win a big road game...6 TD's...back to .500 and they have a pretty soft schedule ahead of them...6 TD's.

I don't even want to talk about football
today.
I had a terrible weekend. The Mountaineers
got their asses handed to them in their hats
by Texas Tech....then the 49ers lost to
NY.....not good. lol

Their season was done a month ago. I like their farm system and we should have some decent starting pitching next spring. I wish they'd take a stab at Hamilton in center.

I can't kid ya too much I guess; my football team sucks, I haven't cared about the NBA since Michael Jordan retired and the Braves were KO'd early again this year :0)

We're a small market team - no way the Brewers or the Bucks for that matter will ever win a world championship - the Bucks did it in '73 with a payroll the size of the local McDonald's. The Brewers have had their shots with the owner's money - but now that he sees he can fill the stands with just 88 wins....well you know.

The Yankees are toast without the "Captain."

The air went out of that balloon on Friday.

One of the best games I've seen Manning throw in a very long time - he looked like a blazen rookie out there last night - of course, it didn't hurt that Phillip Rivers threw like an 87-year old grandmother in the second half.

But congrats!!!

Phillip Rivers oh the look on his face like he was mad and surprised, same with Peyton Manning when the Broncos were down 14-0? Peyton Manning he looked angry with the Chargers nearly beating them John Fox he put a spark into them and ignited the Broncos into a fury

Yay for you and Broncos; and my new-found interest in them with P. Manning, Brandon Stokely, and the other ex-Colt receiver (starts with 'T')

Best personal comeback ever for a P. Manning - led NFL squad.

Dammit, this thread fell to the 3rd page of the index.

The Texans played a sloppy game yesterday and they looked pretty tired but were finally able to pull it out by a field goal in OT ... 10-1 for the season ... GO TEXANS ...

anyone know how the Cowboys and Indians fared?...

Sure am glad the Jets was a home game or it'd of been a long ride home them from Pats land, lol ...
