Hello Billy. Have not chatted in a long time. Everything here is going great, I think spring is here at last. We have been out on the Harley four times last week while hubby was home. Was awesome, we call it therapy.
How is your lovely family doing?
I wish i still had my bike, but south florida is an exceptionally dangerous place to ride now.....My girls are doing fantastic, we are seriously looking forward to summertime and spending a lot of time on the beach.

LOL....That's a battle that would be kind of fun to watch.

(Sorry, Billy....but it would be)

Thank you. I'll do my best.
You can always trailer to one. How far is Sturgis from ya?
We went to Sturgis in 2012, a week before the rally, it was great. We stayed in Rapid City for a week went out to Wall Drugs (cool place) battle of Little big horn, rushmore, crazy horse, needles highway and some really windy road, cannot think of the name of it right now, but the switch backs were awesome. We took a couple of days to get there, as we did not have the toy hauler at the time, just the Harley. but it is a 16 hour trip. So yeah two days it took us. But we sure had a lot of fun geting there, touring around all the sites.

Why is Florida unsafe to ride a bike in? I want to go back there someday, this time on the Harley and toy hauler. We did 8 states last year, was a blast.
Glad you are all doing so well. We just got back from Dominican Republic a couple of weeks ago, had a beachfront condo, and yeah it is fun to be on the beach.

Have fun. My granddaughter turns 3 in June,,,just right for camping this year.

Our weather did the same thing. I hate it when it does that......I can totally understand that. It's hard for us to do anything and our parents are close by. But I tend to always have them with me when they aren't at school or a school related event. Your two sound like good parents. I had mine young as well and they are growing so fast. Just think when they grow up and leave it's going to feel weird....bittersweet I'm sure. You and your family sound lovely. You gotta get the alone time as you can and family time with the kids can be nice too. Just don't let them make up board games!! I hate the made up board games. LOL
Yeah, I think its that way for a lot of parents.

We do a lot of family stuff. We are out on the lake most weekends in the summer. I usually will take one with me if I go out riding for the day with my friends. Play catch with them a lot of times after work and do a lot of cook outs. We are going to run a 5k together in May.

Most of my friends dont have kids, and they are so good with them. When we are all out together, hey have a lot of fun kidding around with them and messing around for the day, and then they get to send them home with me and my wife, lol.

I have a confession to make Im the one more likely to make up board games. Before they could read, theyd ask me to read their fortune cookie, and Id always make up something funny about them. They have good senses of humor and can laugh at themselves. I like to tease, not in the make them cry sense (I had an uncle like that), but in the playful sense. They are getting to the point where they can start dishing it back to me.

Gonna go pump iron. Later.

That sounds awesome. My dad's been there a few times, when he used to ride, but he was coming from Chicago. It would probably be over a 20 hour trip for me. One of these days...

LOL...neither can I. No clue whatsoever......So how's my dear friend today? You told me the girls are good. I want to know how you are. I have another question for you....when I send stuff and I wrap it in newspaper, do you look at the paper? I'm just curious as to who lives in the crazier world. Hahaha
I love looking at the newspapers when you send me stuff, I gotta admit that we both have some weird people living in our part of the world.....But I still think south Florida is stranger than almost anywhere else in the world

North and central Florida arent as bad as south Florida. But down here, between our extremely elderly (and blind) population and our immigrant population, traffic rules arent really looked at as laws so much as suggestions. I rode up until about ten years ago, and then I saw so many instances where people pulled out in front of me, or ran red lights that I took to driving a large automobile to put as much steel between me and the road as possible. I would still drive out in the country, but around town a bike is really super dangerous.

LOL...I wondered if you looked at them...I'll be sure to save the weirdest ones now, just for fun. I have to do the dreaded now because my stubborn self did not call the repairman, yes that is me winning even if it creates work. I'll still be reachable, just done posting for now :)

You would have to take a couple of days for sure. We loved the trip, and seen so many interesting things, and had a blast, lots of laughs. In summer of 2013 last year we did 8 states, Moab was awesome, stayed in same hotel as John Wayne (Apache Hotel), got to see the suite he stayed in, should have rented it, but did not know at time of booking that it was available. Next time, and there will be a next time.
We did the America's loneliest highway from Utah to Nevada, we first of all missed out turn from main highway onto this one, so had to do a detour into a little town called Minersville, now that stretch of highway to connect to America's loneliest highway 50 was a lot lonelier than highway 50...lol! It was 115F, beautiful. We got hailed on on top of one of the summit, it went from 115-80 in seconds, man that hurt on the sunburn, after we got thru that we pulled over an laughed our asses off, soaking wet, got back on bike and dried off in minutes in that desert heat. We have nothing but good times when on holidays.
