Glad to hear it. I am super sore!! Mastered that dance dvd, my gosh..my legs!! Other than that, I am great as well :D
Oh, did you know that for hair my length, you can get $300, No joke, wonder what the CHO would get. I didn't do it though, I know that's horribly vain, but my hair is a part of me, but it's good to know, although not likely to happen.
I know you can get a lot for long hair, but I'm with you as far as not cutting it. Long hair looks great on a woman. I would hate to imagine what they'd pay for the CHOs hair, its gotta be three feet long (or more)...Its funny how a new exercise routine can hurt so much, especially when you stay fit anyway. But it sure does.........

I wouldn't even look into it. Her hair sounds beautiful!!! She reminds me of an extremely beautiful warrior. Wonder where she gets that spirit from. ;)
Yes, I was shocked it could make me sore, but glad too, means it did something. When it's easy I'll switch to a different one.

Hiya Billy! Speaking of hair, I have decided since my BD is coming up in a few weeks that I would donate 11 inches of my hair to locks of love for the cancer children to make a wig. This is not my first time to donate and will still leave my hair in the middle of my back. I have mentioned this before, but seems like such a simple gesture to make some child so happy. What do you think about the non-profit organization locks of love?

I think that any group that tries to ease the pain of sick children is a great organization. I have a number of friends that have donated, including a guy I know that donated his ponytail.

At some point we'll have to do something about her hair, eventually it'll get too long. But she is exceptionally attached to it (No pun intended). I can barely get her to trim the ends . I think its sorta like Sampson, she thinks her hair gives her strength.

I know this wasn't directed at me, but I think if you are getting your hair cut, that is the only thing to do. Unless you cut at home, which many people don't. Every time I've had a major hair cut, that's where it went. I wasn't offered the money for a sick child, but if I decide to cut, that's the only choice in my honest opinion. You don't get money for that, you get a sense of satisfaction. They always want to put you in the paper here when you do it, which I've let my daughter do, but I declined the 2 times I've done it, just doesn't feel right, like it's for what others think. I think that is so wonderful of you to donate to that. Locks of Love is a truly wonderful foundation. Good for you Brandiiii....:D

How funny. I was just getting ready to use that same comparison. I don't think anyone should be made to cut their hair. Hers sounds beautiful, and it's her body, her hair. I agree with Brandiii... about donating it, but people shouldn't feel guilty if they want long hair. So, if she wants it long, that's wonderful, it's a part of her. But, you don't need me to tell you this. You already know you're daughter is wonderful :D

She's a great kid. And when she decides to shorten it, I'm sure she'll donate it. In fact that may be the only way we get her to cut it...

Long hair, short hair..it's all good. The important thing is that people be good to one another, and do what they can, and try to leave the world a little better than it was when they arrived, then we would all be okay. Although if she did cut it, you'd have to rethink "The CHO", because her name goes with her hair, we can't have that!

The best answer I have is paranoia. For some reason, there is a widespread perception that every new poster is Sweetie Pie. Don't let it bother you....BTW-welcome to my thread.......

Hey Billy, what do you think about taking a 3 year old on a 26mi. cruise from Newport Beach to Catalina Island? You think he'll like it?

We used to take our oldest granddaughter boating all the time, since she was 8 mo. old. She loved the wind in her face. We had her swimming at just over a year old.

I think he'll love it, and it'll probably give him a greater appreciation for nature.....Early swimming lessons are mandatory, in my opinion. The number of kids that drown is heartbreaking. The CHO took swimming lessons before she could walk.
