You're right drought is no ones fault i by the way am not European and you being in WV have i'm sure seen hunger,strife,hard times what about our own American people. Also i simply have no remorse when Africans no matter what part they are from kill Americans like their pirates and druglords that we were there to protect them from they turned on us

I've wondered about that very same thing.
Why can we help any other country but our own?

In discussions with others about this they bring
up the fact that WE (the U.S.) have welfare, SS, WIC,
medicare/medicaid and other programs to help but in
my opinion those programs are seriously flawed.
They don't even cover the basics much less help a
person climb out of a bad situation.
(yes,,,,I know many ppl use and abuse the system
and that is another serious flaw)

I've seen poverty here in WV but not the desperate,
homeless poverty that you see in the cities.

The area where I live (and grew up) I guess would
be considered "working middle class." It wasn't until we
moved to Winston-Salem NC that I saw Real poverty.

An entire family in the grocery store parking lot
with a sign saying: Will Work For Food
They had 3 small kids and a beat up station wagon that
they were obviously living out of.....just terrible.
Enough to break your heart.
