Why when something good happens to someone it's, "First I want to give all thanks and glory to God", but when something bad happens it's "Well, the lord works in mysterious ways." His/her/their PR person is amazing, he/she/they have never had to accept responsibility for any of the ills of the mankind.

LOL I think not. I wouldn't blame God if it were to end abruptly.

It's all part of the spiel. It only makes sense to the kool-aid drinkers.

Yes.. I have endured consequenses from my own actions and mistakes.. I use that as a learning experience of what not to do in the future.. I gain discipline from my mistakes.. And I thank God for giving me wisdom.

I do much the same but don't need to inject myth into the learning process.

Believe as you please, it's no skin off my nose. If it brings you comfort embrace it. I am stating my position on the subject of the opening post.

The point is, if you give God the glory for all the good in your life, where is the blame for all the bad? If you need to thank God for the wisdom for learning from mistakes, why not question that you weren't made wise enough to not make those mistakes to begin with?

I was referring to the person who said they make mistakes and learn from them, and thanks God for the wisdom to do so. I'm with you, as most people learn from their mistakes, it's all a part of the human condition to make mistakes and try to become a better adjusted human being by learning from them. No one has really explained why they thank god for the good and don't blame him/her/them for the bad.

Why blame God for the bad?.. There is no bad in God

And yet "bad" happens. Floods, earthquakes, fires, volcanoes, tsunamis... the list is seemingly endless.

Why must we "blame" anybody for the bad? when things go wrong in OUR lives what is suppose to happens is that WE are suppose to take a step back and look to see what RESPONSIBILITY that WE played in that which went wrong and see what we can change in our lives to ensure that we do not make the same mistake again. That is how one matures and grows as a human being ( of course some people do not do this and that is why they never become successful in life...they always play the blame game... it is always someone elses fault that they can't get to where they wish to be, or that something didn't work as they wished it to ) Blame is probably the number one cause of poverty and lack of success in today's world. ON the other hand... Taking responsibility is probably the number one reason people reach success.
