When In Doubt, Ask Vladimir Putin -- Our New "Yoda"
Excerpt:

But the article isn't written by an American. It's written by a foreigner. In fact, it's written by a Russian. Not only a Russian, but the former chief of the Soviet Union's dreaded spy agency, the KGB. And to top it off, it's published as an op-ed piece in, of all places, the vaunted New York Times, not only America's most "important" newspaper, but a paper published in the very city where the 9/11 attack occurred.

Vladimir Putins article in New York Times

The following come from readers reactions to Putins letter.

I am Russian American, who has no reason to love the KGB and has all reasons to love America.... America has to learn to live with complexities of the real world. Black-and-white thinking leads to endless wars with others.

Read more Dmitry Mikheyev, Moscow

As a Russian citizen ... I want American people to know is that we Russians are not really the "opposing force" for you. Syria is too much close to our borders. Instability and chaos combined with chemical weapons is a real threat for Russia.

Read more Sergey, St. Petersburg, Russia

What a crazy world we are living in when Russia sounds more sane and responsible than our own government on a serious international crisis.... Any moment now Rod Serling is going to walk into my living room and announce that I have just crossed over into the Twilight Zone.

Read more John C., Central Valley, Calif.

If the real objective in this situation is chemical weapon stockpiles, then certainly it is more sensible to dismantle and destroy the stockpiles under the scrutiny of organized international verification, than to vainly attempt to deter and degrade the Syrian Government's military capability with the vague hope that 'they won't do it again.'

What's yours?

Putin...for all his multitude of faults has pulled off one of the greatest moves in the international game of brinkmanship chess in recent history! No matter what any of us think of the scummy sh*t, he arranged the board perfectly giving Barry & co no room to move except into 'Mate'. Tactically brilliant!! "The Man of Peace" eh?..haha...it must haven taken more than a few make-up artists to cover up the mud on Obama's face before he faced the cameras. Problem being..how cocky will Putin be now??? Let's be careful out there!!!!!!!
