yep, I still think it was a waste of tax revenue...let's use the jails for the predators..the ones we fear.

the woman showed no common sense, class, etc., but not worth jailing..but that is not my call. So just expressing an opinion after the fact.

I can wear any shirt I want to court,I can dress as I wish, yes if I look like a bum I might get looked at badly, but to arrest someone for what they are wearing is unamerican anti-constitution and not what this nation should be about. I fight every day of my life for this nation, and I wont sit back and let some dumb crap like this go without speaking out about it. FREEDOM ISNT FREE,AND IT MUST BE FOUGHT FOR.
Then take yourself into court dressed like a rat and run your mouth about freedom. I'll send you a card in a 4 foot cell that you and Bubba share.
You are being silly to argue a point like this, the court ask for respect, they deserve it. It's not like they are asking for your first born. Be sure to wear that "Kiss my arse" shirt to a funeral. HELLO anyone home in your head?
It's not unamerican to expect a person to dress within a certain code. Five star restuarants do it, what's the difference?
If you were trying to prove some hidden point, you have failed.

No, I didn't, since you ask. Of course, I have enough respect for the court (and common sense) to appear in very conservative clothing, should I have to appear at all...

do you see one word that says you can wear your lucky hat ...
Amendment Text | Annotations

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I see that you can not spell but can you read..

Why cant some people, just understand, that there is a time and a place for everything. A court appearance, an official government function, a religious event, all, require appropriate attire. Hell, even some golf courses I have been on require a collared shirt, with no offensive comments on it. If you are so hell bent, on freedom of speech, that you don't mind offending the dignity of something,... then you have no dignity yourself.

Tom, you sound like a loud mouthed, blow hard, do nothing, bag of hot air. My guess is, you don't even own a suit, and if you do, it is probably polyester.

Another jackass of jurisprudence that doesn't know the Constitution.

Free speech and expression. The courts have already pissed on the Constitution with the mental health and counseling industry that introduced Hate Crimes.

This really demonstrates one simple rule: When headed to Court --- for ANY reason --- do not wear a shirt with a slogan, or, even, an image on it. Thus, one's clothing is less likely to be seen as provocative or insulting.

Okay, so I actually DO agree that a certain amount of respect and decorum is due here..and I have seen this firsthand (got on my 'best' Seahhawk jacket. lol)

but still,
I think that it is expensive to keep people overnight in County lock up, do we really want to spend our tax money this way??

For me, I do NOT. I work in the criminal justice system and there are plenty of people out there that VICTIMIZE us...let's put them in jail so we can sleep better at night...can't we find another way to let the idiots know that they are idiots?(maybe there is not, but still I gotta ask>)
