What's "KILLING _ US"?

Selective breeding, also called artificial selection, isn't the same as genetic modification (GM), although the terms are often used interchangeably. They're both used to alter the genes of an organism (animal, plant or bacteria). Genetic modification is a high-tech way to change the DNA pattern in an organism -- today it's used commonly in cotton, corn, wheat, soy and canola production + about anything you buy at the -super market-. With GM techniques, genes from any organism are crossed to create something new. Hypothetically, with GM you could crossbreed cotton and pigs.

Gobble Gobble!
http://science.howstuffworks.com/life/genetic ...

Why your Thanksgiving or Christmas turkey has a very short life span. It's genetically breed to create more meat which means it's ( internals can't keep up the the meat growth) therefore the internal organs (smaller than normal) are not mature when the turkey is. Yes folks! your eating biological experimental bird!

That's why Monsanto and DuPont have been under scrutiny from the government but their lobbying force has sustained their criticism.

These products don't have enough history to determine their biological or determinable results.

yes concerning your article...this isn't new news...all meat these days has been tampered with in some way...even fruits/veggies...I grew up on farm... we grew everything ourselves except flour, meal, sugar & coffee... living in town now I pretty much buy everything...but God as my witness I will get back out in countryside one day & grow all my own veggies

... and you slather the outside with as much butter as you like, a bit of garlic if you like. Be sure your dressing is cool before you stuff the turkey, as bacteria is possible otherwise.

Vanilla ice cream goes lovely with a custard pie if pumpkin isn't your favorite.

350 degrees until you just can't wait a minute longer for that ... nap.

flour & meal still came from local mills.
I have a garden each year and grow vegetables, rhubarb, asparagus.
Pick blackberries, apples, pears, persimmons. Eat wild greens and mushrooms. And depend on local farmers for sweet corn, pork & beef.
But we're depending more each year on boughten produce and meat.
I just don't have the ambition I use too. The o'l ticker won't take it.
