Does anyone know if you are a verizon customer how you would be able to tell if a sprint user has blocked your number? Would you get some sort of error messege when trying to text them? Or would it go through as usual, leaving you to wonder if they're just inoring you or if you have been permantely blocked?

you never know... sprint blocks the #..it simply doesnt go through...its a nice feature...
technically, there is no reason for the person blocked,,to know they have been blocked.... you block for a reason...nothing personal...if your the one being blocked...

In your settings [assuming you are a Verizon customer and have a smart phone] go to messages. Under the message menu, there is a "Send Read Receipts" option. If you switch this to on, you will be notified when your message is read. For phone calls, it's even easier - if the person you're calling has you blocked, you'll get "beeeep, beeeep, beeeeeeeeeep - the number you have reached is not in service at this time."

I had Sprint 7 years ago. Worst "customer service" I have ever experienced. I paid over $1,500 for two lousy phones that only worked for 6 months. Then they didn't want to let me leave, even after I paid the $200 per phone early termination fee. I've heard they're improved quite a bit, but I'll never go back to them.

I think it all depends where you live. Up here Verizon is the best, hands down.

I've heard stories about Sprint.

Verizon mobile broadband sucks The BIG one. 4 different devices including a "hot spot", endless hours with tech support, 2 and a half years of headaches.
