So you're saying the SCOTUS s*rewed the pooch on their ruling? I don't disagree! It's not their first time at the rodeo! Thanks for your consistently-biased, polar feedback. Spoken as a true CON-bot!
You ever blame the CONs you apologize, make excuses and lie for here daily for anything? I didn't think so. You think your empty suits are better than their empty suits and you read every page of this bill?
Sure you did!:) Bwahaahaahaa!
Now that you mention it, our "leaders" didn't seem to read the damn thing either, yet they voted it into law. Talk about unconstitutional....

READ THE DAMN BILL, Sheila, and then get back to me.

Comprende? Or no habla ingles???????

(I know, reading it constitutes WORK on your part, and your being a lib, we can't have that now, can we? At least not without union representation. You could form Bill Reader's United Local 51, just shy of a full deck.)

Evening, Captn! Can we get a source or site for your percentages above? Thanks!
Just ggl small business employment stats. The numbers are all over the place depending on the definition of small, but generally hover around 50%

You'd just debunk it anyway, even if it came straight from Obama's mouth. You'd claim it was from "FAUX NEWS" or something. Good evening, comrade.

Post a prior where I defended pols, DEM or CON. That you actually believe there's much difference between either side of the aisle is so naive of you. Sheila? Lame insults, attempting to innacurately label me as a chick? How very grownup of you!:) You hablo Ingles muy bien, gracias! Thanks for confirming above you've got nothin'! You have a good one!

Trollspeak? Label without reason much? That'd be kinda trollish, right?

So you rely on every stat posted here, without asking for their source?

Hey, if that works for you, sir, good for you! You have a great one!

How could I debunk a non-polar link or claim it was from Fox News if it clearly wasn't? Oh yeah, I couldn't. Read your future posts and think: "does this make sense?" It it does, then hit "Post Comment" Best wishes on your future posts.:)

"domestic and multi-national corporations" account, arguably, for about half of the jobs in the US. The other half, small business, is going to get hammered. Yep, those fat cats over at Stella's Bar and Grill need to be brought to justice!!!!
As a former small business owner, I've got to admit - providing healthcare insurance for your employees just didn't get expensive like yesterday - not even the day before. It's been this way since Jesus was a fetus. It's a primary reason most small businesses constantly run in the red or fail. Way back when before it was law, if you didn't provide healthcare insurance to your employees they would have to go out and get it on their own. Unfortunately it is a trickle down effect - medical insurance is expensive, employees can't afford to pay for it, employees get sick and go to the hospital with no insurance, employee ends up not paying the bill which in turn drives the cost for hospital services up for the folks that can actually pay their bills. Do a little research on why your area hospital constantly runs in the red - you'd be shocked to find out how they continually keep their doors open. Hint: it's not government money, either.

Uttering grammatical disasters that end with 'much': That's trollspeak for 'I have nothing of substances to counter with so I'll rely on pomposity and arrogance in an effort to appear otherwise.'

I too am a former small business owner and am well aware of med ins costs. The AC Act seems so convoluted no one can predict if it will ease the cost burden on employers or just shift it from one debit column to another. Congress didn't have the political ballz to address the real issue - cost inflation due to pharma and mal-practice pillagers.
Many non- urban hospital systems located in areas where kids still graduate and are employable and the area is not over-run with illegals are quite profitable. My local system is constantly expanding and buying real estate for new clinics and medical facilities. Do a little research yourself.

I have been told by my insurance company to expect a 35% increase in premiums next year for my employees healthcare. So while it has always been expensive, it is now becoming prohibitive. 5%-6% increases were the norm before this year.

Actually, it's not the hospital that's buying the land - it's the company that owns the hospitals that are buying the land. For instance, in the Milwaukee area we have approximately 36 hospitals. 15 of those hospitals are owned and operated by Aurora Health Care, which has an annual revenue of over $4 billion.

Complete the research.

We did. Thats the lowest increase on the market in south Florida. Some policies went up over 50%. And every policy I saw raised its deductibles and copays, as well as the cost for prescriptions.
