Merely a cause and effect relationship. Obummer gets reelected, economic outlook looks grim. Grim = loss of orders and no need for all those employees. The company 'warning' is not actionable.

Companies, unlike people who are emasculated from telling the truth, are not emasculated in the self survival game. They will shut down when business fails or are charged to much. And from what I have been reading, many stores are downsizing big time this year and are also opting out of employee healthcare plans.

Since a law was enacted a couple of years ago and there are people who have done nothing in life getting things free, if one working does not have insurance he/she will be penalized from my understanding with a tax/fine. Since there are many companies/institutions dropping out of the system, that means private premiums will rise causing more to drop out. So when they go to the hospital, it will come out of their meager wealth while they are still paying for others. Of course more and more people will stop working or learn to play the system and lay on the beach living a bit more spartan, but making the best of it instead of treading water and slowly sinking with all of the pressures that go with it.
