If I live to be a thousand I'll
never understand ppl....

It's this type that makes it so
damn hard for us to save the breed.

Instead of banning the breed we
should ban the ppl.

Why was this man allowed to have any animals in his care? How many time does it take for one who is convicted of animal abuse before they are banned from having any in their homes or on their property?
This should never have happened. He had not shown an ounce of compassion for the children, adults or the animals. I hope they don't just give him a slap on the wrist, he needs to be locked up.

Put the guy in jail and tell everyone he like poking things. A few shivs and some encounters with Bubba might bring him around.

Someone forgot to tell him that "pig" was a metaphor for the cops.

While I don't support banning pit bulls, maybe there needs to be some control here. For instance, why not background checks on the owners? Find out if they are responsible, and find out if they have mental problems or aggression. There are too many cases of people letting dogs attack kids or even kill.

Wow .... it doesn't surprise me that it's in GA. Many folks down here have mean pitbulls. It's a real shame to ruin dogs like that.

Too much bad breeding going on everywhere.
Ppl who know the breed know you never breed
an overly aggressive animal.

If you own a pit bull, the chances that you are a mental case are fairly high, just like your "pet".

They are not a bad breed.

Just a powerful breed. And like
any other powerful breed they can
be dangerous in the hands of an
incompetent/twisted/evil person.

What is done to these dogs by ppl
IS a crime. And even after being tortured
by ppl all they want to do is love you.
Ppl can't even be that forgiving.
But this breed is.

Let me clarify. I don't blame the dogs for their temperament. I blame the mentally deformed people who make them that way.
If you have rescued and and cared for pit bulls, and/or helped tortured or abandoned pets in general, you have my compliments and my appreciation. We have canines and felines, all of whom are family.
(We also have a pet fly, but I'm the only one who feeds him.)

They have the strongest jaw muscles of the canine breeds, that's why they're preferred to use for fighting. Never had one try to kill me, though I've had quite a few that wanted to lick me to death. Pretty sure they can sense if you love them or not.
