That information is made public. Could that be how? Hmmmmmm. uhn. hmmmm. uhn.(reaches in pants) you got that right, want some candy? mmmmmm I guess when I get caught, and they search my computer, they can charge me with another crime. And if the parole officer does his job during routine inspection of the home, he will find the computer and search it for social media use, possibly allowing for the rare occasion when law enforcement prevents a crime instead of arriving afterward, long afterward. Now, what are you wearing? The president wants to know.

As long as your name doesn't contain any derrogatory terms, the sky's the limit - you can even change your name once you have an account. No where in their application process is there a box to check if you're a "sex offender." One person can actually have unlimited accounts.

From the Terms and Conditions that you implicitly agree to when creating a Facebook account. Registration and Account Security Facebook users provide their real names and information, and we need your help to keep it that way. Here are some commitments you make to us relating to registering and maintaining the security of your account: You will not provide any false personal information on Facebook, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission. You will not create more than one personal account. If we disable your account, you will not create another one without our permission. You will not use your personal timeline primarily for your own commercial gain, and will use a Facebook Page for such purposes. You will not use Facebook if you are under 13. You will not use Facebook if you are a convicted sex offender. You will keep your contact information accurate and up-to-date. You will not share your password (or in the case of developers, your secret key), let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account. You will not transfer your account (including any Page or application you administer) to anyone without first getting our written permission. If you select a username or similar identifier for your account or Page, we reserve the right to remove or reclaim it if we believe it is appropriate (such as when a trademark owner complains about a username that does not closely relate to a user's actual name).

So now we're a stickler for rules and regulations? It was just yesterday that Crain said that a "Gun Free Zone" sign would stop anybody from shooting up the place. Jeesh, you guys need to make up your minds. BTW - I've got three FB accounts. Had them for three - count 'em - three years. My dog also has one.

I honestly don't give a rat's ass how many Facebook accounts you and your dog have. I truly believe that it is Facebook's own best interest not to enforce their membership rules, not doing so keeps their membership numbers artificially high. However, just because Facebook chooses not to enforce their own rules does not mean that they don't exist, kinda like our current immigration laws, they exist but god forbid any state try to enforce them.

"You will not use Facebook if you are a convicted sex offender." I just wonder how they enforce that one considering all the rest of them people pretty much ignore.

Jeesh, you guys need to make up your minds. BTW - I've got three FB accounts. Had them for three - count 'em - three years. My dog also has one. Irrelevant to the issue at hand. You disagree and feel sexual predators have a right to use Facebook. NOBODY has a right to use it, they can deny service to anyone except based on race, religion, sexual preference or any other *protected* class of people. More reality. A private club may indeed exclude protected classes of people. You can absolutely run a private club disallowing <insert race or religion> from joining. Boy Scouts of America discriminates legally. They don’t want you if you’re an Atheist or homosexual. Court challenges have been staged without success since they’re a private organization. I suspect Crain was being sarcastic. A gun free zone would only inconvenience law abiding people. Criminals would have a different view, sheep for the shearing.
