This is the way the progressive left works. Emmer has problems over 25 years ago and he is not qualified to run for any office, but this guy blows a .18 in August and because he is "sorry for his mistake" they don't see any issue here...

Is this thread about "demeaning" Leitz? I suppose that that isn't OK because he is a "Liberal guy"?

Does not surprise me.
Why not? Last gubernatorial election we had a choice between two drunks. Or in other words, two drug addicts.

It's not meant to be funny red. It is instead, quite sad that so many Americans are just mindless sheep. They see and hear only what they want to.

cant, you and I are going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I have met both Emmer an Dayton and can tell you there is a distinct difference between what you term as "two drunks".

Emmer might have had issues 30 years ago, but I have been in social settings with him and have never seen him imbibe when others around him were heavily drinking. If you have a conversation with Mr. Emmer, you know that you are talking to someone in complete control of his faculties and a very intelligent person. You may not agree with his politics, but you would be impressed with his grasp on the issues facing the middle class voter.

Dayton is an over medicated dry drunk. He is a nice man, but is not capable of managing is own affairs, much less those of the citizens of Minnesota. Mark Dayton is open about is past history with mental illness and addiction. That is a credit to him as a person. Dayton is simply a puppet for his ex-wife, Alida Rockefeller Messinger. She is the person pulling all his strings.

Dayton and Emmer are no where near comparable as you have inferred.

If you have proof that Tom Emmer currently has issues with alcohol, bring them forth.

If you have proof that Mark Dayton is not exactly as I described, I'd love to see that.

But you don't have anything. And as always, your only weapon is a cheap Alinsky tactic of ridiculing the opposition. Your old tricks are very stale and ineffective. Alas, you again have nothing.
