The one thing I also hate is when a parent says "my child would not do that." I found you go into being a parent not ever being sure "Your child would not do that." You have to stand by your child sure but you also cannot be blind. There is a saying "Trust by Verify."

lol, I learned when my girls were very young,,not to believe them. else I ended up looking foolish. NEVER assume your children arent normal..!!! they will all test every boundary to different levels..some just lie better, or have more gullible , proud parents..Ive never been able to coddle my childrens stupidity..long road, but I am seeing progress as they turn into adults..and they are making me proud..Im glad I stood my ground with them,,and didnt hide away from their stupidity..and growing pains..
still keeping my fingers crossed
but its looking good..

I think that 'most' people are molded.
You have a bad parent who has 3 kids and they become bad parents. Endless increasing cycle.

But I do agree that some are just born bad.

It's only disturbing because it's a 'child' but that child eventually grows up to be an adult. As we all do. Some are, by nature, rotten.

After a certain age you have to make your own choices. You have to decide you want respect and then in turn give respect. It's amazing that you went through such horrible turmoil as a child and turned out to be such a smart and responsible adult. I think you hit it dead on by saying at some point you have to make a choice! My mom came from a craphole environment and she turned out to be amazing. She did EVERYHING on her own I respects to becoming a strong woman. It's so easy to blame others for our downfalls and it's so easy for others to say awww poor you. But for someone such as yourself, you my dear are amazing!! And you should be very proud of yourself. I can't believe that you were ever born to be evil or you never could have made it to where you are now.

In regards to your reply, you do know the difference between EVIL CHILDREN and "all children" I would never put a well rounded child in the same class as an evil one.
Well my comment was a bit over the top I must admit.Sorry about that bit that putting that aside I stand by what I say in regards to good and bad. Remember poor little Daniel valerio on England in 1993? A poor innocent 3 year old little boy bashed to death and dumped on rail way tracks by two 10 year olds. Some children are DISTURBING and EVIL.... Just like some adults. I find some people to be a little over sensitive when it comes to making judgements on minors. Why? I said in another post somewhere on here that we need to identify these sickos when they are young so they can at least try to be helped. In a civilised society what else can we do? I can give you many examples of children raised in loving homes but go out and commit depraved crimes anyway. Bad? Yes they are. Beware of the child who harms animals for "kicks" that is a sign that they have not got a full deck of cards.

Totally agree but to be fair parents are so blinded by their love for their child they really can't see what others can.
