my name is Billy and I live in Cedar Lake, Indiana. I am poor and in need of food. Last week I was evicted from the weekly hotle off route 30 and now I have to use the internet at the county library. If you could send at leat 20 doallrs to the lake co. public libray, addressed to Billy G, I would be thrilled.

I need money too!
Now I just have to go down to the Lake County Public Library and wait for envelopes addressed to Billy G.
What state is that, Billy?

Oh and by the way, living in Cedar Lake, there must be plenty of pine trees around. Many parts are edible. Ask Euell Gibbons.

Greasepaint, funny hair, floppy shoes, red nose == job

Imagine what you can do with a clean suit and a little effort.

Wow. These chain letters are becoming more agressive. Someone needs to show him how to pretend he has a rich relative in Africa who will send them their banking information. Does anyone have Judge Judy's address?

Or his pants are so baggy that he has to hold them up with one hand like a moron.

Someone was conducting a human nature experiment. So by this thread so far, about 90+ percent showed this idiot no compassion. And he would deserve none as far as I was concerned, be he real, or be he someones idea of a new thread. There really are people on craigs--list that beg for money like this. But even if they are REALLY hungry, and at the point where they are standing there with a rope in hand to hang themselves, they would not get anything from me. Why? Because our forefathers didn't have food stamps, or even running water. If they whimpered about things not going their way, they either did so quickly and solved the problem, or died. Why should a taffy-soft socialist -raised lazy idiot get anything more than a founder of this country who had to deal with more than not having a box of macaroni & cheese to boil.

It was decent of you to provide info. But think just a moment,-- if he can operate a computer, he probably knows where to get government cheese.(actually, I miss that govermment cheese, where can I get some?) You are still a decent human being, and my hat is off to you, sincerely.

Latest Update: Billy has a 22 year old friend who works at the ALL VOLUNTEER Cedar Lake Library. They decided to work a scam, but had to find a way to avoid using their last name, or a real name for that matter. This worked out well, because the library rarely gets mail, and Billy's buddy who works there 5 days a week is the ones who usually puts all the received mail in the bin. Normally, a letter addressed to 'Billy G', would be a suspicious thing, and would be opened in curiosity. But the only mail that ever comes to the library, is the few operating bills to keep its doors open. No payroll, all volunteer. A good way to make a few hundred dollars. It only takes a few suckers. Sounds feasible to me.

And that, I predict, is the end of this thread.
Not really; I'm sure there are other bored individuals like myself who are just cruising the Topix boards, and will find this mildly amusing.
Carry on.
Have a great night.

I really hope that it was a troll.. but there is always the chance that it was someone who really needs help.. I know for a fact the homeless people who are in my town do go to the library during the day.. When the weather is bad it offers shelter.. as well access to computers... There is a chance that the person is new to that area and doesn't realize that the information is online.. So rather than write it off to my first instinct.. I took a second to look up some information which may help a person in need.. No biggie..
:o)
I hope that you are having a real good night an that your day has been filled with laughter and love...
