No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.”

What we love
determines what we seek,
what we seek determines
what we think and do,
what we think and do
determines what we become.

I believe that you're great, that there's something magnificent about you. Regardless of what has happened to you in your life. Regardless of how young or old you think you might be. The moment you begin to 'think properly,' this something that's within you, this power within you that's greater than the world, it will begin to emerge. It will take over your life. It will feed you. It will clothe you. It will guide you, protect you, direct you, sustain your very existence. If you let it. Now that is what I know, for sure.~ Michael Beckwith

"It is being here now that is important. There's no past, there's no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there ever is, is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can't relive it, we can hope for the future but don't know if there is one." - George Harrison ~

Quotes I find quite fascinating are ones that I disagree with.

Congress shall appropriate no money from the treasury except by a vote of two-thirds of both Houses, taken by yeas and nays, unless it be asked and estimated for by some one of the heads of Department, and submitted to Congress by the President; or for the purpose of paying its own expenses and contingencies; or for the payment of claims against the Confederate States, the justice of which shall have been judicially declared by a tribunal for the investigation of claims against the government, which it is hereby made the duty of Congress to establish.

Confederate States of the US Constitution
Article I, Section 9(9)

Could you even imagine Congress getting a 2/3rds vote to do anything now?

And does anyone understand just exactly what is going on after the "yeas and nays"? I read that a few times and I'm still perplexed. Maybe that's the point...

“I heard you were a player , okay , lets play a game.

We'll flirt, play fights, talk 24/7, say goodmorning and goodnight every day, give each other nicknames, hang out, talk on the phone for hours, take cute pictures together, make promises to each other and hold each other.

And whoever falls in love first, loses.”
