Money has never made man happy, nor will it, there is nothing in its nature to produce happiness. The more of it one has the more one wants. Benjamin Franklin If you look for truth, you may find comfort in the end; if you look for comfort you will not get either comfort or truth only soft soap and wishful thinking to begin, and in the end, despair. A path is only a path, and there is no affront, to oneself or others, in dropping it if that is what your heart tells you... Look at every path closely and deliberately, as many times as you think necessay, then ask yourself alone...Does this path have heart? If it does, the path is good and should be followed, if it doesn't it is of no use. ~Carlos Castaneda

The point was in itself money cannot buy you happiness. It wasn't the money that brought the happiness but the successful operation. The money was simply a necessity to get to that happiness.:)

Good then we are in agreement. The wisdom in the quote is that if you belief money itself will bring you happiness you will surely be disappointed. Happiness CAN be a byproduct of money but if you would take money out of the equation like let's say gifts (some doctors do surgery for free or a painting given by a loved one) the person will be equally as happy if not more. As archaic as it might sound if we went back to bartering would it really be money or individual talents/skills that bring on the happiness?:) I love argument, I love debate. I don't expect anyone just to sit there and agree with me, that's not their job. Margaret Thatcher
