Yes there is one way to get the truth
on this by doing an internet search? If you are
good at this like I am and I really want to
know how all this happened in the first place

Oh
talking about being confused, I remember the
times when people I come upon and I cannot tell
if they are male or female it just confuses me
and I just look and stare at them trying to figure
out who on earth is this???

One suggestion is to ask them how they wish to be treated.

This reminds me of when my mom's friend left her hormone pill out on the counter and her husband took it by mistake (he panicked when he found out-swore his voice got higher that day!)

Just curious here, but why does that matter? I believe how a person wants to be treated is much more important than what they have or don't have below.

If his voice went up, it must have been out of fear. Estrogen has no effect on the voice. The lowering of the voice caused by testosterone is a one-way process.

That is normal, jackass. That has been happening since the late 1700's, WAY before we had all these foods that are 'heavy in hormones'(newsflash, they are not in all actuality).
I swear, you cringe hearing that, I just shrug and realize "Hey, it's normal. My cousin who was a VEGETARIAN had the same thing happen to her, with starting her periods at 6! It's normal, since they didn't find any tumors or anything else that would 'speed up' her development."
Hey JACKASS! It is NOT NORMAL, hasn't been normal in the modern age at all. It may have been normal when girls were married at 12 or 13! But is NOT NORMAL whatsoever.

SO JACKASS, why don't you try to learn a few things first.

We could have had a conversation on this, but you CHOSE to call me a jackass! So PISS OFF!

No, the estrogens break down to other estrogens. There are 3 main estrogens in the humam body, estradiol (E2), estrone (E1), and estriol (E3). I heard of 2 of their metabolites, and one of them has been linked to cancer.
There are hormone imbalances in women, but I don't remember all their causes. One doctor suggested that post-menopause, the ovaries produce some testosterone. There are diseases where testosterone is released.
Oh, you might be interested in this article on hirsutism. Even pregnancy is a potential cause.

Very interesting. Thanks for that, I am checking out the weblink.:)

hello, I am in medical school and just learned that although many of our meats and foods do contain hormones and steroids, these are denatured once they are cooked. So basically, the added hormones and steroids have no affect on consumers if foods are prepared properly. I was relieved when I found and went back to purchasing regular food and not wasting my money on organics, which is quite expensive with a family of five.
Interesting, but I don't buy that completely. I don't necessarily think that they are completely denatured, thus having no effect. They might be less effective once cooked, but 8 year olds getting boobs is NOT normal, neither is an 8 year old getting her period.

No no no.....It would have to be back door. On top or botton, the Fagina still has cream on it (BEFORE he applies his own that is...).

Well, the guy didn't do any medical research-he just panicked! Mr. Macho was afraid one pill might mess him up-it was really funny!

I forgot to mention that there are anti-androgens to take for this too. Spironolactone is one. It is a blood pressure medicine, and is given for congestive heart failure and end stage liver failure. It also has been known to cause breast growth in males, and some doctors prescribe it for hirsutism in females.
