I collected toads of all sizes, kept them for a week or 2, looking at them, and taking care of them. Then let them free when I was through. I used to love to touch their texured skin, it hypnotized me.

I can remember my friends and I making go carts. Taking lawn mower wheels and using the bolts for axles, nailing them to two by fours. Tying rope to the front one for the steering, nailing a piece of wood beside you would use for a break. My friends dad was a carpenter and would use his nails and lumber and tools and fortunately he was very understanding.
It was amazing the things you could do when we were kids that didn't involve computers, tv, phones, things that our kids do now a days to entertain themselves. My kids hate it when they say there's nothing to do and I say read a book!

I remember putting around fifty miles a day on my stingray bike with the high handle bars and banana seat.My legs never ogt tired. Now days I go for a short bike ride and it takes days to recover.

That's because you took the seat off the post. Did it get rid of your hemorrhoids at least?

man I can't remember the last time I rode a bicycle, it used to be my whole life. I had a western flyer with the banana seat with the big handle bars and the slick racer back tire.
