I remember drinking the milk about five minutes after it left the cows teet.It was thick warm and had a foam floating on top.Yet we never got fat from drinking it.When we stwitched over to store bought milk years later it took a while to get use to the thin regular milk which seems thick compared to the fat free milk.

In the 50's they delivered it to your door, used to have these aluminum boxes that kept it semi-cool, till you retrieved it.....cream used to form at the top of the bottles.....no preservatives....

My Grandma baking Christmas cookies, Sunday school, singing in the children's choir, picnics in our backyard, a 2 week trip to the mountains with my best friend and her family, the old store that all the kids went to and bought the best penny candy, ice cream and comic books, then off to the playground. It was a great way to spend a lazy Summer day. Also remember the old PAL dances at the firehouse. That was when Coca Cola was really Coca Cola. Such fun times and I miss them so much.
Me too...:)

When I was a kid my mom worked as a bar tender and on days that were slow she would bring my sister and I to work with her. I remember sitting at the bar and she would say " the usual?" and then she would make me a Shirley temple. I thought I was king sh!t!
