Maybe it is because the world is so full of "words" with all of the technology we have, but I think we place too much emphasis on what is said instead of what is done.

This is what I am trying to teach my 13 year old daughter right now.

Attitude and actions are the most important things. Words mean little....except if those words are " I love you"

Only if the "I love you" is backed up with actions! If I never hear it again, but feel it, I'll be satisified.

But even the words "I LOVE YOU" can still be ONLY words.Need to show that love as well.

As much as I like my companions here on Offbeat, this hour was the thing in the day I liked most; and I liked it best of all when, as the light faded.......or rather, I should say, the day lingered and the last calls of the last birds sounded, in a flushed sky, from the old trees...

I could take a turn into the grounds and enjoy, almost with a sense of property that amused and flattered me, the beauty and dignity of the place.

Plenty of rain here,changing to snow tomorrow.Possible 4-8 inches of snow..Wet snow they say.There are some who has already lost their homes due to flooding.Land slide and possible some more land slides and maybe lose some roads.We may not have power.Everyone be careful,safe and prepare for the weather.
