Nov 18, 2012 Full story: KVAL-TV Eugene 94

Twinkies are being sold on the Internet like exquisite delicacies. Hours after Twinkie-maker Hostess announced its plans to close its doors forever, people flocked to stores to fill their shopping baskets with boxes of the cream-filled sponge cakes and their sibling snacks - Ding Dongs, Ho Hos and Zingers.

I think it had nothing to do with it. Two bankruptcies in ten years tells that story far more accurately. A couple of million dollars in bonus's paid out to the vulture capitalists who bought the company to rape and pillage it, tells that story.

But, don't worry your pretty- little head about that. If someone told you Obamacare was a fault, it must be true!

Naw. There's more career enhancement to saving the auto unions than there is saving the baker's unions.

“I see another one of those greedy unions have caused the demise of the Hostess Company, putting 18,500 people out of work. I hope they’re happy. Since they’re the cause of losing their jobs, I hope they’re denied their unemployment benefits.”

“Greedy” is not the word I would use to describe the Bakery, Confectionery, Tobacco Workers and Grain Millers International Union. They weren’t striking for more money. They were striking against major reductions in pension, pay and health benefits. It’s true that Hostess officials blame the striking workers for the company’s demise. But this was the company’s second bankruptcy. Experts cite poor management, a changing market Hostess couldn’t get a handle on and poor marketing strategies as reasons for the company’s failure.

The companys failure is because no one wanted to see it "work" or they'd got together and done it!
Just as (( same as )) our government!

I'm going to respond to your BS because- as far as I know- you're not some cowardly, pretend *doctor* who gets all butthurt and cries to Topix if I post to his canndyass.

"greed" is a CEO of a failing company giving himself a million dollar bonus knowing he's already raped and pillaged the company- AGAIN- and topixtards will blindly blame 'unions' because they are idiots and sworn to making sure Obama is but a 2 term president.
